And preferably the ACC2 adapter is connected to pin 9 and not pin 13 so that the mic gets muted. Otherwise you have to turn down the mic gain to ensure you don't mix room noise with your signal.

Actually you can do this:
FLDigi -> FLRig N3FJP -> Hamlib rigctlcom -> FLRig WSJTX -> FLRig (via Hamlib)
rigctlcom is the magic glue that emulates a TS-2000 and can connect most any program (other than Ham Radio Deluxe) to FLRig or any other rig for that matter via a virtual serial port.

These are the documents you
need for setting up the 7100 either for audio FSK or keyed FSK:
fldigi can then be used for
sending characters to the program flrig which in turn
generates the correct FSK keying signals to send to the 7100.
I would suggest you first
try using the 7100 in USB-D and sending the audio FSK to the
transceiver.? Be careful not to overdrive the audio, just like
you would if operating PSK-31 or any other digital mode.? RTTY
is simply another digital mode.

AFAIK, Fldigi only use's afsk for RTTY which means radio should
be in a suitable ssb mode.
Data-A or Data-L or USB or LSB, depending on program REV
selection for space mark polarity.
RTTY here is used for FSK, extFSK use, with RTS keying.

Ok, then that is the issue. Set fldigi to Rtty mode and it'll probably do fine. Flrig has the capability key the transmitter I believe in FSK, but I've never done it. Hopefully someone can help in this.

Mike,
Sounds to me like a sound card issue. Not connecting on transmit. Maybe on wrong channel or need to put it on both channels??
What about other modes? Do they work ok on transmit? On Oct 11, 2024, at 15:00, mike isakson via ??< w7xh.mike@...> wrote:
Don, if I try to send a cq , the transmitter is keyed but i get a constant carrier sound no dittle. I use flrig, fldigi and n3fjp and rig control is great, if I send rtty from the radio directly it decodes in fldigi. I will look at the link you provided. Thanks for your response. 73 W7XH

Are you getting PTT signal sent (radio should go into transmit mode)?
Are you putting out?any power (use power meter option on IC-7100)?
Initially I could receive?but not send also.
I found the following helpful and when I reset according to these instructions?all worked.:
Note: I had trouble with autobaud on CAT and a fixed setting of 19200 seems to have resolved this issue.

I am hoping to ask the group about a problem I am having with my IC-7100 sending a continuous carrier . I do not get? a diddle. I have tried both 4.1.20 and 4.2.05 fldigi and flrig 1.4.2 and 2.0.05.
I? have installed IC 7100 usb drivers and am connected with a usb-a cable. The radio is set to RTTY . I have rig control with flrig, fldigi, and N3FJP operation. If I send a rtty message directly from the radio, fldigi decodes it perfectly. I am just not able to send.

Your audio does mot?appear tp?be?getting to the IC-7100
1) make sure you have the correct sound card configured for output (speaker):? you need the IC-7100 usb so9und device
2) us this configuration?for IC-7100
-?
- you need to be on USB-D for the mode AND have the connectors configured to use USB for the sound?
When I followed the IC-7100 instructions o the web site everything worked/
