If you have no audio output, here are some suggestions:

Amplifier Blown

Just up from the Audio1 8 pin connector, there is a TDA2822M chip. If your chip has the letters WX on it, many of these have been easily blown by over supplying voltage or shorting the speaker wires.

The suggestion is to desolder this chip from the board, replace it with a socket and insert a new non-WX TDA2822 amplified. You can order these at your favorite electronics supplier or Amazon as a pack of 5.

Incorrect wiring of the speaker jack

This is the correct wiring of the 1/8 jack for an 8 OHM mono speaker.

Alternatively you can use this method of adding two 8.5 to 15 Ohm resistors and can use Mono or Stereo cables and speakers.
