  • Reduce screen brightness using the Terminal app
    • sudo sh -c "echo nnn > /sys/class/backlight/rpi_backlight/brightness"
      where?nnn?is a number from 1 to 255. I set mine down to 80, which is much better for my eyes and reduced power draw from 1.2 A to .9 A.
