Re: fldigi and IC-7100
Looks like did not like my PowerPoint attachment. It can be?found at: For hamplib config specific to IC-7100: - select IC-7100 as rig - com port as presented to PC - 19200 baud I was unsuccessful with using autobaud on the IC-7100 but that may have been user error. Re: fldigi and IC-7100
thanks Phil, but I must say that I had flrig connected to fldigi and fldigi connected to n3fjp. All operating together perfectly with the IC-7100. Flrig would set the band on all software and fldigi would parse the contact information. The problem was that I was using the rtty settings on the radio. My radio uses fsk and so I had a constant tone rather than the rtty diddle. I believe that David? or someone here in the group suggested that I use usb-d. That seemed to work . Unfortunately, trying so many things and not keeping a good record , I kept breaking my efforts. It would be great if an IC-7100 owner could provide their settings, understanding that it has it's own sound card and control is via a usb cable. I am thankful for the group response and their information. It would be good for some updated data based on fldigi 4.2.xx and flrig 2.2.xx. Many of the screen shots are from much earlier versions. Anyone out there using an FT-950? Do you mind sharing your FLRig / FLdigi settings?
I am STRUGGLING to get fldigi and flrig to work. Currently opening FLRig activates the PTT on the transceiver and the only way to stop it is to restart the transceiver. From there I can adjust things through FLRig and I see the same things change on the transciever, so I know serial is talking fine.
?
Once I get into FLdigi and try to transmit anything I notice the PTT never kicks on, so the transceiver doesn't actually send anything out.
?
I'm using Win 11 64bit, I'll be happy to provide further info but I'm not sure what else is relevant to include here.
?
Thanks!

And preferably the ACC2 adapter is connected to pin 9 and not pin 13 so that the mic gets muted.

Otherwise you have to turn down the mic gain to ensure you don't mix room noise with your signal. Mike W9MDB On Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 09:23:28 AM CDT, Adrian Fewster <vk4tux@...> wrote:

TS-2000 Kenwood problem, PLEASE HELP
Herr K
Hello everybody!
I'm struggling with my TS2000 along with a SignaLink SL-1+ to work with FLDIGI.
First of all: I'm using this setup succesfully for a long time now with WSJT-X.
My notebook is connected via USB to the TS2000 and via 3,5mm Headphone-Jack to the SignaLink. The SignaLink is connected to the TS2000 via the 13-ACC-Connector.

Now to FLDigi:
In order to make the connection between the TS2000 and my notebook I'm using FLRig. So far so good.
This is my problem:
My notebook (FLDigi) is hearing the signals but only through the microphone of my notebook. If I turn down the volume of the TS2000 no signals are being decoded....
Sending is about the same problem: If I hit the tune-button of FLDigi the TS2000 switches to transmit but the SignaLink doesn't switch to "PTT" and the TS2000 expects audio from the microphon....
I've tried so many settings but all in vain.... It's driving me nuts.
Does anyone have a solution how to setup TS2000 along with the SignaLink SL-1+ to work with FLDigi? PLEASE HELP!

FLDigi -> FLRig N3FJP -> Hamlib rigctlcom -> FLRig WSJTX -> FLRig (via Hamlib) rigctlcom is the magic glue that emulates a TS-2000 and can connect most any program (other than Ham Radio Deluxe) to FLRig or any other rig for that matter via a virtual serial port. Mike, Either FLDigi or N3FJP logger can control the but only one can be connected at a time.? Best to let FLDigi do the CAT work and make log entries.? Same if you run WSJTx where you marry WSJTx to Jtalert then let Jtalert do the logging. Phil / K4PO |

Re: fldigi and IC-7100
开云体育These are the documents you need for setting up the 7100 either for audio FSK or keyed FSK:fldigi can then be used for sending characters to the program flrig which in turn generates the correct FSK keying signals to send to the 7100. I would suggest you first try using the 7100 in USB-D and sending the audio FSK to the transceiver.? Be careful not to overdrive the audio, just like you would if operating PSK-31 or any other digital mode.? RTTY is simply another digital mode. David, W1HKJ On 10/11/24 20:22, Adrian Fewster

开云体育Ok, then that is the issue. Set fldigi to Rtty mode and it'll probably do fine. Flrig has the capability key the transmitter I believe in FSK, but I've never done it. Hopefully someone can help in this.73, Cliff, AE5ZA
