Problems between YD7001 and Windigipet 2021 Premium
7
Good morning. A colleague from the association in my city has a problem with Windigipet. When you put in the program that uses the Yamorc YD7001 with LOCONET, the detours do not respond well after a few minutes pass. Even if you reset all components with the Windigipet program, some move and others do not. If you use a program like Digikeijs DR5000, everything works fine but you have another problem and that is that if there is a power short, the control panel recognizes it but the program does not. He uses XPRESSNET as a detection system but in the WIndigipet program only the YD7001 option with LOCONET appears and it has the Xpressnet option. In case you can help us with this issue. I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy summer. Greetings from the south of Spain, Mario

YD7001 & Digitrax PM74
12
I have just tried to connect a PM74 onto a YD7001 to give us multiple districts with short protection. I have done this on other layouts at our club but using a Digitrax DCS210 as the base unit and all works find. According to the PM74 documentation it should be as simple as taking the track wires from the YD7001 as the main input and then PM74 will split into districts. However I wire straight from the YD7001 to the track and everything works. Then put the track feed through the PM74 all the leds light green but no power to the track. Any ideas? cheers Graham

Digikeijs DR5000 - No WiFi Lights, WiFi not working
6
Hi all, A customer of mine has sent in his DR5000 for checking, all of the sudden the WiFi has stopped working on his DR5000. I believe it was supplied to him several years ago by Ridgepointe Rail in Australia. I have found the following so far: 1. On boot up the yellow LAN LED lights for a second, then none of the three 'WiFi' LEDs light at all, ever, even after 5min etc. 2. No WiFi signal produced by the WiFi chip in the DR5000 3. On swapping the WiFi chip out of my personal working DR5000, into the faulty DR5000, I get the same result, no WiFi signal, no WiFi LEDs lighting 4. Swapping the WiFi chip out of the non-working unit into my working unit sees it start working as it should, WiFi LEDs lighting etc. 5. Have performed a factory reset of my customer's DR5000, also a firmware update to 1.6.3 - these all seem to have been successful 6. However - factory reset of the WiFi chip has not worked, have tried this multiple times through the software tool. The conclusion I've come to is that there seems to be an issue communicating between the WiFi module and the DR5000 IC, as the WiFi module itself seems to be working fine. I can't see any signs of heating or damaged components on the DR5000 circuit board, wondering if there's something that can be done via the software that I'm missing.... I was hoping to replace the WiFi module with the new YD9401 but am worried that this won't actually solve the problem. Thanks in advance! Jarryd (Buckambool Model Trains)

programming of YD8116 via YD6902ES-Ext
3
I just ordered a YD8116 and a YD6902ES-EXT , since according to pag 11 of the manual the simplest (and cheapest) configuration option "....is via the YD6902ES-EXT and a normal network cable or YD6901ES-LINK to the configuration module (e.g. YD6016LN-xx)". The same page though, also states ".....A YaMoRC module with "ES-IN Link" connection is always required for configuration (e.g. YD6016LN-xx, YD9101) . Which of the two statement is true?

Slot Max
9
Just been doing some testing on my YaMorc 7001 and found when I plugged my Digitrax DT402 into the unit to try and run a loco, as I tried to enter the loco address, I was hit with a Slot Max message. Now if this had been at the club with the DCS240 system I have the procedure to clear the Slot Max. Anyone know the process for clearing the Slot Max message on the YaMorc? cheers Graham

Loconet Lost, new instal problems
6
I am in a pickle. I have been using my YD7001 for well over year now. Love it, until…… last night the Loconet bus stopped working. Testing showed the Loconet B output from the Command Station had died. It also took out my DIgikeijs Booster. I isolated the Command station from the layout and Booster unit and did a factory reset on the unit. No change. Only change I made prior to the loss was to install a new UTP for my Digitrax Throttle. So looks like something has gone in the YD7001 Board. Any help would be appreciated. BUT don’t worry Reg you have a spare YD9401 module and a spare DR5000, just upgrade that unit, get the Authentication Key from Karst and ‘Bob’s your Uncle’. Right? Wrong! when authenticating the new unit I get a message on the screen “Coul not find …….. Desktop/prog/DR5000.hex and/or …….DR5000.eep.hex Update aborted” great ok so Reg uninstall DR7001 and download the Configuration File again. Did the uninstall ( interestingly the Desktop icon for the dr7001 did not disappear) and when I go to the dr9401 webpage to download the Configuration File, there is no Download to be seen, when I click on the link Iget a table with data, Ipresume referring to my old unit, or possibly the new one. By now you have guessed I am a model railway fan, not a computer fan. so here is what I am thinking. The uninstall did not work. So I will try that again so I can get back to basics. Oh BTW, when I hook up the new unit to the track and booster everything works fine, including the Booster. Any suggestions would be appreciated, no pressure I have a scheduled operating session with 5 operators coming Wednesday to put the layout through its paces. Reg ” Computer Says No”

YaMoRC in Australia
16
Hi, I am using my upgraded DR5000 (with the YD9401 module) with TC9 Silver in Adelaide Australia. Two questions? 1. Are there any other YaMoRC users in Australia? (or DR5000 wanting to upgrade) 2. I am looking to upgrade my TC9 to TC10. It seems quite a ‘route’ to do so and quite frankly the uber control exercised by our dear friend seems troublesome. The consensus seems iTrain Standard is the best alternative, I am interested to experiences of anyone else that has moved from TC to iTrains as some opinions on forums seem to to me to take on Republican v’s Democrat proportions Yours Reg Modelling HO scale South Australian Railways in the 1960/70 reasonably large layout, but not complicated. ps I am visiting the Netherlands in September, staying in Nunspeet, any recommendations for model railway visits welcome. Love Rotterdam. ?

Upgraded DR5000 to YD7001 - UI issue
7
Hi, I have recently upgraded my DR5000 to YD7001 by installing YD9401 and it works well. My question is about the UI - when I open up the USB or WiFi or other windows, they are very small and I can't seem to expand them by dragging the edges. Am I missing something? Is there a way to make them bigger? Thanks, Krish.

Loconet Cabling and Splitting
8
Hi I am currently using a Black Z21 with Loconet to connect 4 DR4088LN detection modules that are arranged in a U shape. The Z21 is physically located in the middle of the U and the cable goes up one side and then doubles all the way back before going up the other side; this results in an very long cable between the 2nd and 3rd modules (approx 40 feet). I have seem some simple splitters on the market (RJ Cable splitters) which suggests that I could just split the signal coming out of the Z21 and take one cable down each side of the U. There are also some more expensive boxes made by Digikeijs. Can someone please advise if I can just use a basic cable splitter as described above please? Windigipet 2021 + Digikeijs 4088 RB (No LOCONET)
7
Good night. Another doubt has arisen in my mind. I have to connect the YD7001-E to Windigipet 2021 but my modules are the Digikeijs DR4088RB and in the configuration I only see LOCONET in the program. And it doesn't allow me any other option other than LOCONET. Can I connect it like this that way? Or do I have to choose the DR5000 XPRESSNET option? Thank you so much. Mario

YD7001 LAN Control
11
HI, I have recently upgraded my DR5000 to a YD7001. Its working great, I was getting intermittent disconnects with iTrain but these have now gone. My iTrain/YD7001 interface uses a LAN connection, no problems., however I cannot I cannot establish a connection over my network from the YD7001 Configurator App to the YD7001. I get an error message saying that it cannot establish a connection, when I look in the log there is a entry saying that it could not establish a connection within 1 second. I change the control back to USB and all is well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Alan

VOLTAGE FOR MARKLIN Z
11
Good afternoon. Could you put the transformer that has the Marklin Z controls that I think are 10 volts or 12 volts and use it directly with the Yamorc yd7001-e? If it were possible, how would you lower the output voltage to the track? Thank you very much for your help. Mario

CONNECTION DR4088RB AND MULTIMAUS AT THE SAME TIME
4
Good afternoon. I have in my case DR4088RB and DR4088. According to the image I have of the DR5000, it shows how to connect it and I imagine it will be the same on the YD7001-E. My doubt is that what I had before was the white z21 and I had the DR4088RB connected to the RBUS and the multimaus to the XBUS, but how can I connect both things at the same time to the YD7001-E? Thank you so much. Greetings, Mario

YD8008 and a relay
2
Hi, Is it feasible to drive 12v relays from a YD8008 that has YD6940s? I need the relay to only operate for about 300mS or a little longer in order to be the momentary trigger to an input of a timer board. I hesitate to connect the YD8008 directly to the timer board so a relay seems a reasonable way to isolate them. (eg different power supplies and no common -ve.) The YD8008 config app can apparently set a pulse length of 300mS so it would suit my purposes. I am already doing this with Digitrax 2x DS64 so I know the concept is workable. I just want to convert everything to YaMoRC if possible. I would only have one output active at a time. Thanks.

YD7001-E PDF Manual

Good evening. Where can I get the manual in PDF format for the YD7001-E? I found it on the internet but it can't be downloaded and I would like to have it. I think it's about 50 pages. Thank you so much. Mario
