Ultimate2 kit status
All An update on where I am with the next batch of U2 kits, which I had hoped to have ready near the start of June, but clearly that was over-optimistic. Firstly the PCB manufacturer claims a 1 week

v2.02k - Twice the fun, WSPR and QRSS together!
Good morning all, This is all the fault of Keith Maton G6NHU, who asked for a special version. Then we thought others might like it too. So that became v2.02k. It is based on v2.02 but the

v2.02 released
All Thanks for waiting patiently. The new v2.02a version is now officially released. Many thanks to Andy G0FTD, Eddie G3ZJO and Keith G6NHU who beta-tested the new version. The final version is

Re: Argo - Display Actual Radio Frequency
I don't think you should assume your receiver calibration is absolutely correct or that the sound card frequency display is spot on. This is what I do to set up a QRSS transmitter. I set Argo to

Re: Argo - Display Actual Radio Frequency
Argo v1 build 143 : I set the two left-hand boxes to 1000 and the right-hand to 10138700. This allows QRSS and WSPR to run simultaneously. Obviously you need a filter bandwidth of at least 1.3 kHz

Re: Argo - Display Actual Radio Frequency
I set my receiver to 10.139000 USB Also set Argo to 10139000 Setup/calibration This takes care of the offset and you get a proper read out in the LHS Hope that helps Philip G4JVF

Argo - Display Actual Radio Frequency
Hi Gang Just built my 3rd QRSS beacon - this time it's the Hans Arduino shield. Mighty fine piece of kit too! I've managed to completely confuse myself with the setup of Argo and hence the frequency

Hi Barry, Well I fired it up this morning but couldn't get anything out of it. Not sure if it was able to get a fix from where the unit is located so I will take the whole thing outside to give it a

Not the first time I have Spotted Andy G0FTD's U2 on 40m but the mid screen ident was a spot of luck.. You may be able to spot yourself on my Grabber.

Re: WSPR TX Time Charts
Hmm I was hoping for better than that, I have several Home Brew WSPR PIC MEPT's, PIC Xtal Clock sets the timing, WSPR time is accurate for months, I switch them on and off at will and they are always

Re: WSPR TX Time Charts
I am watching this one with interest too. I have a U2 which I initially used with no GPS. I calibrated the clock frequency correctly and left the U2 on WSPR witn NO problems. After a day the U2 was

That's great Barry, thanks for the info. I hope to fix it up later tonight. 73"s de Andy ------------------------------

Re: WSPR TX Time Charts
Hans, I may be in error and was only thinking of when I was testing with frame of 02, so it would start as soon as possible. I do find it interesting that for the frame settings that do not come out

Re: WSPR TX Time Charts
Hi Paul It's obviously not a particularly critical thing, but this one is interesting. Are you sure? I just checked in the code and I couldn't see how that would happen? I'll try to reproduce it here

Re: GPS behaviour very inconsistent
Thanks for the info Andy. I think your reply is a yes to my question in that the two pins can be connected to the same voltage source. 73's De Andy ------------------------------

WSPR TX Time Charts
I put a series of WSPR TX time charts in the Photos section. They show the time slot for various start times and frame settings. For the 00 start time, the chart will be valid after the first hour
