Hi! This has been a tough week. My stress level is over the top since we are leaving on vacation Friday and stupid me added three pooled trusts for good referring lawyers so I created stress for myself since I already had more than enough to do. Stress for me I think is the worst enemy of good health. That and pain. But on the positive side, I kept my resolve to increase the exercise and I have also been trying out new classes at my gym!I have kept my goal of working out every weekday for the last two weeks!? I LOVE Pilates and the next time you see me I will be as lean as ?a board and six inches taller I am sure! Lol. Also got two spin classes in which I haven’t done for years, tried a combined fitness class using a whacky core board, and did two water aerobics classes! Spin had my heart rate consistently higher than it’s been in two years. I think my body had gotten used to the other program I was doing for the last two years. This new club is right across from my office so I have been able to get there before work and after work, whichever is best for the particular day. So I am very happy about this part!? Plus the PT and dry needling I’ve been getting have helped with my knee issues. Yay!?

Michael, that’s my breakfast every day and now my lunch most of the time!
I did a second week of a 2 day cleanse and feel lots better.
Still working on resisting the carbs.
Hit a snag with exercising as my knee started acting up again. I may need to get back to the ortho. Wish I was a swimmer!

So, I forgot to weigh in this morning because I actually slept last night and my hubby didn’t want to wake me up until he absolutely had to. ?But, I did exercise 4 times this week, even though my Apple Watch doesn’t count my outdoor walks because I don’t
go fast enough. ?I get my heart rate into the target range and that ‘s what counts.
And, thanks to Judy’s prompting, I called this morning and made an appointment with my doc for a LONG overdue physical.
?
OH, AND ONE MORE THING.? THESE GOALS TO MAKE US ALL HEALTHIER ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO EXERCISING AND LOSING WEIGHT.? IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD YOUR ANNUAL MAMMOGRAM OR PHYSICAL, IT SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE ON YOUR TO DO LIST.? IF YOU'VE HAD SOME SORT OF ISSUE WITH YOUR
HEALTH THAT YOU HAVE NOT PRIORITIZED (BECAUSE LET'S FACE IT- ELDER LAW ATTORNEYS TEND TO PUT EVERY BODY ELSE FIRST!), THEN PLEASE, PLEASE, MAKE YOURSELF A PRIORITY AND CALL TODAY TO SCHEDULE WHATEVER APPOINTMENT(S) YOU NEED.? IT'S LIKE THE AIRPLANE THEORY
