It's me again. Happy New Year! We're in the middle of our first election campaign process. One of our members, KA0WWT, stated back in April this year that he didn't want to receive any email via HCOL so I changed his club email to end with @no-email. Everything has been working fine, with him not receiving any email, until 12/29 when he received a reminder for an event, sent to his HCOL account email, not his club email. He then went in himself and disabled reminders for events. Then last week, on Jan 2 he received the election notice, again sent to his HCOL account email, not his club email. What can we do to be sure he receives no email? Thanks, Dennis

Currently have one member of club, who's Account e-mail is a @att.net e-mail address and his Club e-mail is a @amsat.org e-mail address. So talking with the member, the @att.net e-mail is correct, yet it's showing (invalid, undeliverable) in the roster, yet before the @amsat.org service went away I did have to reconfirm his e-mail address was correct and went ahead and put the @amsat.org back in (of course before that service went away), which again this is before @amsat.org went away. I am planning on changing his @amsat.org e-mail address to his @att.net e-mail address, yet since his Account e-mail which is currently the @att.net address, if I change his Club e-mail address to @att.net will the e-mails still bounce since his account e-mail with the @att.net is showing (invalid, undeliverable), cause looking at the e-mail history I can see when the @amsat.org service went away and the e-mails bounced, but want to make sure his @att.net is going to work. In our VVARC club we have a member, KE7KHE, that is displaying an incorrect account address. The address on his FCC record shows the correct address in NV. The map in HCOL is also showing the correct address. But the displayed address is not right, showing it being in OK.

Hi, I have a couple of questions about HCOL membership expiration and renewal. I see that our HCOL settings say that a Membership Expiration Notice Email will be generated 45 days in advance of the expiration date. I have not seen any such email and I believe we are in the 45-day window from 12/31/2024. Any ideas why the email did not go out? I have scoured the HCOL FAQ and cannot figure this out: What is the earliest date in 2024 that a person may join TBARC as a new member and have their $25 membership fee get them through 2025? I was thinking that, if we decided to reach out to lapsed members and invite them to rejoin, I’d hate to see them send us $25 and be given an expiration date of 12/31/2024. One of our VVARC members got added to HCOL with a different email address but he already had an HCOL account with another club. I don't see a way to change his logon email account so we can get him using a single HCOL account to see both clubs from the main menu screen.

Our club president sent out two club communications to all members but didn't understand how it works. He didn't change the default subject line or add any context in the message body. Really he should have used our club all-member email system we have setup, not the HCOL method, for these. Is there any way we can delete these? Thanks.

I'm trying to set up a survey vote on hamclubonline, but the only "type" options I see are Candidate; Position; Roster. This does not work for a survey. What must I do to create a survey?

Hi again, I am working with a new member and he has the following situation: HCOL Email: xxxx@... Club email: yyyy@... Except the club email somehow got typo'ed as yyyy@... and that is not a valid email address. I asked our admin to just delete the club email but he says he does not have an option to do that. When a new member joins our club, their email address is recorded in HCOL. But our club does not send out very many emails, so it might take some time before that email address is tested.Also, members might change their email address from time to time. Is there any way for a member to initiate an email message through HCOL to verify that their email address is working on HCOL? Thanks.

When I look at my user profile, it shows my correct address, Lat/Long, grid square, etc, but it shows my timezone as America/Chicago, so all notifications for meetings etc. are shown as CDT. I can find no place to edit this. How do I get HCOL to show everything in Pacific time, appropriate for Oregon? When I first started using HCOL, I was living in Texas and that club is still shown on my club list, but inactive since I moved away 8 years ago. Could that be an issue? Thanks, Michael WA7SKG

I am curious as to the functionality of this. Also, when looking for a groups.io email...what address is it looking for? When i put my email and password in, it kicks it back saying invalid email or password. Does it add/invite users to a groups.io group when they sign up and pay? Thanks! Paul

How do I send mail to club officers only? The option is not listed in the drop-down menu.

My club wants to send a donation to HCOL. We would like to send a check by US mail but I'm only finding a PayPal button on site. Anyone have proper address? Or is PayPal the only option?

How can I increase the font size in the text box for sending messages within Hamclubonline? It's very smaill and difficult to read and correct mistakes.
