Re: Status of K6VEC?

I can practically guarantee that we (K6VEC/HCOL) aren't a figment of your imagination, I'm pretty sure I actually exist.
?
Then again, if you listen to google, the Gulf of Mexico doesn't exist *either*... so you can't trust them anymore :D

Re: Recording Donations

Without *details* where I can look at the user in question, all I can do is speak in generalities.

The system is a rudimentary double entry bookkeeping system, you'll notice that everyone that has transactions recorded shows a debit to something and a credit to something.

ie, $-15 square payment, $15 membership dues.

There's a button that says "Add non-membership monetary transaction"

Because the normal way of entering dues does both entries. you have to manually go in and make entries if you want to correct errors you've made.

You record a donation, (which in accounting terms, means the person owes you money) then you record the payment as appropriate to offset it and result in a zero balance.

The club email doesn't take care of everything.

I've put in a fake email address for mr "leave me alone". :)

The email seems to be working now.

Note, in future, to save me time, just open a ticket with the actual users callsign, so I don't have to go hunting through your club and guessing. :)

Happy new year.

I am planning on changing his @amsat.org e-mail address to his @att.net e-mail address, yet since his Account e-mail which is currently the @att.net address, if I change his Club e-mail address to @att.net will the e-mails still bounce since his account e-mail with the @att.net is showing (invalid, undeliverable), cause looking at the e-mail history I can see when the @amsat.org service went away and the e-mails bounced, but want to make sure his @att.net is going to work.

Yes indeed, looking good now. Sorry I didn't get the request in on the 31st so you could start the year with a clean slate, but I'm sure the year will be great nonetheless. Keep up the great work!?

Fortunately since I'm only allowed one mistake a year, the rest of 2025 should be better :)
