HCOL membership expiration and renewal

I have a couple of questions about HCOL membership expiration and renewal.

  1. I see that our HCOL settings say that a Membership Expiration Notice Email will be generated 45 days in advance of the expiration date. I have not seen any such email and I believe we are in the 45-day window from 12/31/2024. Any ideas why the email did not go out?
  2. I have scoured the HCOL FAQ and cannot figure this out: What is the earliest date in 2024 that a person may join TBARC as a new member and have their $25 membership fee get them through 2025? I was thinking that, if we decided to reach out to lapsed members and invite them to rejoin, I’d hate to see them send us $25 and be given an expiration date of 12/31/2024. I'd like to be able to communicate the situation precisely and provide accurate guidance.

1. Not sure where you're getting that 45 days because your club is set up for a 30 day notice.

2. that's one or the reasons I really discourage clubs using the "everything expires on a set day", things work so much better if you just give people a years worth of membership from the day they join.? The way you've got it set up, the earliest they can join and get all of 2025 is on January 1 2025.
