Re: Suggestion for the NEW UBITX V7.
Allison had done an Atlas conversion years ago. She is one of the best radio designers I have come across. I hope she is still lurking around in this group.

Wanted an Atlas since the 180 came out in 1974 and finally, a 1979 Atlas215x LE recently followed me home. A rather long wait wait, but was it worth it, absolutely? A cheap PLJ-6LED counter with two

Re: Suggestion for the NEW UBITX V7.
Glad you like it. It is not my design alone. It is a community driven circuit. Very little of it is original work! I am less of an author and more of an editor who picks and chooses interesting things

Hi, Like Farhan I do not see those screens as an improvement. I am happy enough with my V3. I made some changes to get it compliant regarding harmonics and other spurii, tamed the sidetone, and such

Re: Suggestion for the NEW UBITX V7.
Sorry to disagree with you on color screens. For me, color greatly improves the ease-of-use, such as separating functions and commands from data. ?Color screens are a feature, not a disadvantage.
