i fully agree with you.
I bought my v6.1? and am very happy with it. with my budget, 1200 is almost my income. Even though its tight i buy qrp ft8 rigs, build qrp cw rigs,etc.
been a qrper since late 70s. main rig was hw-8 and a tube transmitter homebrew with a 6t9 tube putting out about 6 watts with a homebrew antenna tuner.
even if i had the money,which i did when i was younger, i wouldnt pay that much for a radio.1200? or more? maybe for someone else, but i look on the internet :qth,ebay,etc, and when these superstar payers get hard up,i see alot of expensive radios being offered for sale to recoup the money they lost.
keep up the good work ashar!!!! and maybe put out some add on boards. but other than that, in my world, the rig is best left alone since alot of hams in other countries the ubitx is their only main radio for their hobby and for emergency communications.
