Last month I spent 3 weeks at our cabin in OK.? I only needed to drive about 1/4 mile up the road to be within the borders of the Ouachita National Forest so I decided it was time to activate a park!? After the first attempt with the Hamtenna mounted on the trailer hitch didn't go so well I took the MJJ-2240 Stealth Dipole (2 Hamtennas on a special mount), a 10' pole, and a roof mount type tripod.? That worked great!? Over a two week period I activated 5 times and logged right at 200 contacts with 10W SSB!? My furthest was a P to P contact to park VE-1693 in Ontario!? I also worked Panama, Italy, Brazil, and Puerto Rico with the uBITX at the cabin with inverted Vee.? I very rarely turn the "100 watt rigs" on anymore...
Several months back I remember somebody proclaiming that QRP SSB was not worth it but I say, "Not so!"
