Gary
There will be nothing to validate. The operating system has stopped your
attempt to write to the root of your C: disk. Don't fight that fight.

Thanks for those several pointers. I perhaps foolishly tried the stop allocation sensor option. Not in every section, but at an intermediate to break up the length of allocation and hence the turnout

Jean-Francois,
Here is alternate method for setting allocation sensors.
Create a CSV file using a spreadsheet. Load that into JMRI as a LogixNG Table.
Create a LogixNG that waits for allocation

Malcolm,
Dave's suggestion makes sense.
And, I'd hazard that allocation to "safe sections" is counter intuitive to how you are trying to operate.
"Safe section" allocates the whole transit when the

I do not know in Dispatcher or Layout Editor.
In Control Panel Editor, using OBlocks associated with signals, and

You could put a stop allocation sensor on each section in the transit. Then you could use other logic to control the stop allocation sensors.

Malcolm,
I use an allocation sensor and Logix.
The scenario:
I use a transfer to move the train from one safe section to another (usually a depot).
In the following transit, I set the first section

With regards to the OpsPro portion on JMRI, I would certainly describe myself in the camp of the User versus Programer/Coder.? In fact, Dan (who I firmly believe dreams in code!)
