Locked Re: Dispatcher, can I slow down allocation of sections? #automation #autotrain #dispatcher

Malcolm,

?I use an allocation sensor and Logix.
?The scenario:

?I use a transfer to move the train from one safe section to another (usually a depot).
?In the following transit, I set the first section an allocation sensor.
?That allocation sensor is set active (true) by Logix whenever the detection block is not occupied.
?As the train enters the detection block, occupancy starts a delayed action to inactivate (clear) the allocation sensor.
?When the allocation sensor is inactive (false), Dispatcher allocates the next transit.

?I find that gives opposing train movements a chance to allocate.
?It creates a dance between trains that use the same track resources.
