i'm using the original ic706 mic, i haven't tried another mic. I tried plugging it into the back connector as well but it's the same. Was your problem inside the microphone or on the connector? thanks

Re: NIB Icom 7000
Exactly right, but a NIB IC-7000 is worth about $800 which is still less than an an IC-7300. From: "Thomas Mccain" <temac@...> To: "ic7000" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 6, 2023 5:57:15 PM Subject: Re: [ic7000] NIB Icom 7000 IC7300 is only HD/ 50mhz? IC7000 is vhf/uhf/hf

Re: NIB Icom 7000
You don't? but ham radio's for investment purposes..
Last spring, at Claremore (Oklahoma State ARRL Convention) I bought a IC-7000 as close to "New in Box" as there is.. The guy was at the table next to me.. As the 2 day swap progressed his price came down and my sales progressed to where about 2 hours before the show was over and all the crowds had waned. $500 was the final price. Now-some will say I wore him out. Not so, 3000-4000 people had a chance to buy it before me.? I have one all ready in my car. But having a backup is a good thing. Saves taking a big box radio somewhere like POTA-SOTA or some vacation. I hate learning new menus and setups.. etc. Larry W8LM |

[ic7000] 2 ic7000s for sale
I have 2 IC 7000 that do not work. Both have no receive or power out. The control heads work on another 7000. These are parts only radios. There is only 1 mic between them. I would like $50.00 plus shipping. -- John Mardock j@... j@... 402-525-6111 |
Re: NIB Icom 7000
I have had three of them and enjoyed each.
Two I bought from an estate sale and they were Click - Click dead and I was able to fix one, bought another one as a spare and then was able to fix the third with a donor dead front panel that was repairable. For the time I used these radios they provided great service and are absolutely beautiful radios. A few problems and replacing a driver and other trouble issues along the way and the decreasing availability of replacement parts led me to sell (slowly) and buy an IC-7300. The last one was sold to finance buying an IFR FM/AM 1200 Super S communications monitor. So I am IC-7000less and I still miss them! I should have kept at least one of them, but I may get over it. The IC-7000s are getting a little long in the tooth but are still a beautiful radio and a new one might be worth $1200 to the right buyer. I suggest advertising on Ebay to find that buyer. 73's JD KE4MD |

GM Group:
I couldn't resist. The ICOM IC-7000... Past, present, and future it remains a remarkable, one-of-a-kind transceiver, nothing comparable from any other manufacturer to this day. Truly, a "Shack in a Box". PS: the comparison between the IC-7000 and the IC-7300 does not stand up. They're two different animals. Is anyone going mobile with their IC-7300? Probably not. tnx es 73 de K3SSB Tom G, Sr. |
Re: NIB Icom 7000
开云体育7000s and even 706 Mk II Gs still ringing
a pretty suprisingly good premium .
I would say that 500 is a really good price
(for the buyer)!
