PK, Not sure what is wrong with the CT33, but from the spec they should be really close to the CT Midi in respect to performance. CT midi - 130 cfm at 96¡± static water lift CT33 - 134 cfm at 90¡±

PK: Have you examined the used CT33 for cracks on the external housing? I have 4 x Festool vacs, 26, 33, 33, and 48, and my oldest is approaching 15 years. One of my CT33s has cracked all the way

One of the guides to aligning the jointer talks about closing a piece of tissue paper between the temple bolt to assure that they all are in proper tension. You might check that out.

my 2 cents?temple bolt heights are probably not in same plane and your clamping tension is different when u clamp so changes the height of the table,they should fit perfectly flat on both heads or
