I have just finished the process of cahnging the inserts for the first time, i.e location 2 on the intserts in line with the instructions of the Usage and Mainrance Manual and also reconfirming that the outfeed table is coplaner with the cutter block. Macine is 2022 build.

However I am seeing a snigificant change in run out, from 0 to 15mm which checking the level difference between the cutter and the bed.

This is fustrating as its causing a differing cutter shaving on the pieces being jointed.

Has anyone experienced this and are there any remidies other that trying to stick to consistant locations to pass the wood over/through the machine beds?.

Obiviously i have torques and cleaned all the inserts as per the manual and everything seemed ok during the process.

BTW - thank you David P Best for your unofficial survival guide for jointers, without it i do not this i would have the confidence to state the above while making the adjustements and using his calibration techniques.
