Re: Thermostat CHV-TSTAT
no You're connecting your cresnet ground line to one side of your furnace control wiring? The last thing in the universe you should to to a TSTAT is connect Cresnet anywhere directly to your furnace.

2000 isn't that long ago, it's... just... 9... years. Good lord, that's a long time ago. Jeremy

OT Re: sub pages won't go away when I press power ON/OFF
Yeah - probably not so much. I just see stuff like that and it's kinda sobering. (And I don't drink!) :) - Chip

I think I found my copy of the program you guys are talking about. It's dated 2/2000. Anyone seen my walker? :( - Chip

Re: Sony DVP-NS425 IR File
This is very good to know. Learn something new every day. BTW, I have tried this and sent the new code to the installer and im just waiting to hear back if it worked. Thanks, Richard

Re: Sony DVP-NS425 IR File
Hi Richard, I have the same problem with my Sony DVD at home. The solution for me (and if anyone has a better one, please tell me!) was to run each of the nav buttons through a one-shot with a time

Re: Sony DVP-NS425 IR File
You can change it after learning, very handy.

I thought that setting was only applicable during the initial learn? I will give it a try. Thanks

in the old a/c system analog thermostat, analog thermostat (thier is no +24 v -24 volt ) actually u can use the cnet voltage in this case also , i tryed this methode and its working perfectly.

Re: Thermostat CHV-TSTAT
u cannot know the real voltage of the relay if u didnot open the internal cover of the thermostat i will try to explain the causes: - maybe the main voltage is 24 vc dv maybe its going to resistance

Re: Thermostat CHV-TSTAT
Uh, I'm slow today. Sorry. TSTATs are powered by the furnace wiring between the R and C. It isn't necessarily the contact rating. My guess it is the limitation of the voltage you can apply to the

thermostat. If you look at Crestron's website at the master description, the relay contact rating is 40V DC or 28V AC at 1 amp. (sorry, didn't think to look there until now.)

Re: Thermostat CHV-TSTAT
Trane furnaces (XL10) use 24v ac without any problems to the thermostat. Relay descriptions are slightly tricky as a 12v relay refers to the coil voltage when the contacts are closed. Some general
