Has anyone here done any work in a Gulfstream private jet? If so do you know if there's a way to control the onboard video switching and amplifier source selection?

Hello group! I have been tasked with specifying a security system from the Works With Crestron Home list. Does anybody have any personal reccomendations or caveats concerning any particular systems? Would like to use Honeywell or DSC because of availability through our partner, but can go another route if anything integrates particularly well. Thanks!

Howdy, I am a programming novice, and mostly deal with modifying existing code to add basic functions. I have been trying to integrate 6 NVX's(NVX350,352, 2 D30s, and 2 E30's) into my complex A/V system(two 3- series processors and a 64x64 and 128x128 dm matrix switchers, and a whole lot of endpoints) using a DIR-160, and am a bit lost on how the programming logic should go. I've been told that the Director should act more or less like a DM switcher, but I am not sure how the logic with streams should go. It seems to me that with or without the director, I still need to pull the individual streams into a serial strings for the logic. would I be correct in saying so? My main goal is to get some hands on experience, as there is an expansion that will be all NVX based, so I want to have a head start on how to use these devices. Thanks!

Using either the SSH or TCP driver in Extron GC Pro, is there a way to connect an IPCP Pro 550 to a Crestron NVX endpoint and tell it to set to a certain multicast stream, start video, etc? I have been searching everywhere for commands that could facilitate this, but cannot find anything? I am trying to do this without a crestron processor intermediary. This is similar to an earlier post I made, but this is spurred on by a question from a colleague who absolutely does not want to use a crestron processor to switch one D30 between two E30's.

For those using my Crestron-Hubitat integration driver that allows you to integrate hundreds of different Zigbee, Z-Wave, and off-the-shelf IoT devices with a Crestron system I wanted to let you know that I've uploaded a new version of the Crestron-Hubitat integration code to my GitHub (https://github.com/jbasen/Crestron-Hubitat-Integration). The new version adds support for: 1) Double-Tap and Press-Hold events for switches and dimmers. Note - not all switches and dimmers support these events. I'm pretty sure that the answer is no, but is there any way to trigger a reserved join number programmatically? EX: I want to launch the App Setup screen (res.Join 17242) from a running VTP project, but I want to make it a P+H instead of just a press on a button. TIA!

Hello hive mind, can anyone confirm if AUTH requirements can still be disabled on a new DMPS-4K-350-C? I have a very high end boardroom that we did an eon ago that is using a third party control interface integrated with their building management system. Its essentially a version of CommandFusion with a very custom UI designed to look like LCARS (from StarTrek) if anyone remembers them. Their DM finally died after forever and I would really really prefer to just sell them a new one and swap it out for the old one and be a hero with minimal drama. These are still 3Series if I'm not mistaken? We actually have a few of the scenarios out there and I still wish there was a magic command to disable it of 4Series...just sayin.

It's still kinda crappy, but I fixed it so it doesn't poll incessantly to keep the connection alive (apparently you were supposed to hold INIT high). Now you just pulse INIT and it'll establish the TCP connection as needed when other commands are sent. I also added a little help documentation, since there was none.

We have over 60 NVX endpoints installed in a building and a few weeks ago the audio streams stopped working on the NVX-351 and NVX-360 units, but still work on the E20 units. Video streams still work on all the units, but the audio streams just disappear from the stream list in Q-SYS Designer (the cores do the audio routing and processing for the building). If we subscribe to video and audio on a decoder connected to a TV via HDMI there is video but no audio as well. A reboot brings the stream back for 3-5 minutes and then poof! Gone again. IGMP snooping is enabled on all the switches, as is QoS, and no changes were made recently on the network configuration or other devices, so we're all a little baffled.

Hi, Does anyone here has a working module for extron dmp 128 plus? I have downloaded the module from @crestronfreak but some how ramping is not working properly. When I pulse the ramp down, volume will ramp straight to zero and if pulse ramp up volume will ramp up to 100% same function as mute and unmute? Does anyone try this module? Please share some thoughts. Thanks

I am hoping that @jbasen will see this. I have been using your sensibo module for a few years and it has been working fantastically well. Today the module has started erroring. Seems to be an SSL issue. I'm hoping to use one of these in my sons apartment but having a little trouble wrapping my brain around setting it up. First question is, is there any benefit to connecting via Ethernet over cresnet? If I use cresnet, i only need a 10 inch long cable direct to the processor. There will only be 4 sources accessed by 2 TV's. (Living room and bed room). I don't need audio breakaway. I'm missing something here. Looking at it in program mode, I'm not seeing what initiates the input and which output you want to send it to.

I am asked to do a small system with some caseta and some sonos, with iPad for UI. WooHoo! Can I get Caseta to load into Home like Homeworks or Ra, is there a trick to it? TIA

Hi, This might be a novice question when it comes to adding new IP-ID's that is duplicated from an existing one, but I was still have issues and not sure if I missed something. I am trying to completely mirror a Crestron App IP-ID to a new Crestron App IP-ID, as well as converting a DGE IP-ID to a new Crestron App IP-ID. I've utilized the following resources to no avail. - Setting up a project to use the Crestron App on an iPad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ7bJ4eDJhQ - https://help.crestron.com/simpl/Content/Symbol_Operations/Duplicate_Device_Programming.htm - https://help.crestron.com/cds/symbols/Cards/TPMC_V/Import_Smart_Graphics_Extenders_into_a_new_SIMPL_Windows_program.htm - /g/crestron/topic/duplicating_ui_programming/97522615 - /g/crestron/topic/multiple_touchpanels_same/85810775 Steps that I've taken: 1) I retrieved the current program from the Control System (CP4), which provided a .lpz file. I then extracted that to obtain the .archive file. Inside the .archive folder are the project files including .sgd_, .vtp/.vtz, .usp, etc. 2) I launched the .smw file within SIMPL Windows and was initially prompted the following: "A newer version of the control system [CP4] exists in the current Device Library..." Clicked "No" "** GUI Extender File association needs reconciliation...." Double-click to launch the GUI Extender Management. 3) A lot of files were pointed to a non-existent path that the previous programmer set. They opened up the .smw file with Notepad++ to remove the pathing so that it would search the .sgd files in the same folder as the .archive. 4) Some .sgd files were missing or only the .sgd_ was showing. I had assistance from Crestron Support in regards to this. They opened up the .smw file with Notepad++ to remove the pathing so that it would search the .sgd files in the same folder as the .archive. For the missing files, they recompiled the corresponding .vtp file. For the files with only a .sgd_, they copied it to another folder renamed it to .sgd and copied it back. Clicked "Select All" under the GUI Extender Management, "Sync", and "Commit Changes". 5) Went to Program > Edit Header and just updated the name. Then just saved the project as a new name, "Test". 6) Went to the Configure section, under CP4, Ethernet Devices, I added a new Crestron App as IP-ID 15. 7) Went back to the Project section, right-click and dragged the current Creston App that I'm trying to duplicate (Ex: IP-ID 0F) and over to IP-ID 15. 8) Clicked on Duplicate Device Programming (didn't replace anything). 9) Saved the project and compiled it to get a .lpz file (which should theoretically be a copy of the original, but now with IP-ID 15 added). Over on the CP4, the original program (Program 1) is called Main and I left this as is. (I was told there should be any issues leaving the original). I uploaded this newly created program as Program 7. Now I navigated back on the Crestron App on a iPad and added the same exact information as the original IP-ID, but changed the IP-ID from 0F to 15. > The iPad connects and I can see the UI, BUT the issue here is that it doesn't fully load up the current settings or show the correct values. Like on the IP-ID: 0F, I can see the volume levels and TV, but on the newly created IP-ID: 15 it doesn't show the volume levels or what's currently active. Shouldn't I see the same exact thing on IP-ID: 15 since it's just a copy/paste of IP-ID: 0F? I spoke with Crestron Support and they suspect that the .sgd file pointed to in the GUI Extender Management is an incorrect file. I've test duplicated two other touch panel's IP-ID that uses a different .sgd and also ran into the same issue. Which at this point I was stumped if I missed another step. I read up about the Logic, but was told that since I'm doing a complete 1 to 1 copy, I don't need to copy/paste the Logic or rename the headers. I've also asked Crestron Support if there's an issue with having the original program in Program 1 and have this modified program (just added one new IP-ID) to Program 7 and was told it

I'm replacing a couple C2N-AMP-4x100s with an 8150. Never used one before. How much heat do they put off? I am in a position to reduce a 26 space rack to...well...one space...and I'm kind of giddy about it.
