Ken,? I can validate this works.? Looking through the changes, it appears this was not an easy debug? ?I'm sure this took some time to chase down.? ?Thank you.? ?-joe

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
Sorry, no Facebook social media in my future. We are having some great success with the CP4-R as well.? It's quite a powerful processor. This isn't meant to rant against Crestron Home.? It's very

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
It might be best. We've got a CP4-R at the office, so I might put it through its paces regarding simultaneous connections. At least its not on a client's dime. It still worked great for our project

Yikes! Thanks Brian for your insights.? I have a large project coming up where I was planning on using Crestron Home with a bunch of CRPC connections. Guess it is back to the drawing board.? Maybe I

For the CH integration with the main processor, each interface requires a corresponding Smart Graphics application. Media Player, Pyng Lighting, Pyng Shades, Pyng Climate, etc. Each of those has its

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
Brian, Can you explain what you mean by too many CRPC connections? It seems that you are *not* referring to MPO and Pyng Trig/Listen modules and Smart Objects, if not what do you mean?...If CH can't

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
Regarding the Pyng Smart Graphics: How have you gotten it to work consistently? Crestron TB doesn't have any clue how many supported CRPC connections are allowed. They have stated to me that it wasn't

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
My 2 cents... The thing I dislike most about D3 is the engravings errors (where it blanks all the keypads on a revision change) I've done my share of Simple lighting, but to do a lighting program

Re: Lighting in Simpl from scratch
It shouldn't be that difficult but will take some time. I had written an advanced S# module that leveraged RCB's in S+ to create dynamic ranges and configurable groups and presets. There were a few

Re: Any issues with D3 and current databases?
I'm on Device DB 200.45.003.00 and Crestron DB 203.00.005.00, and I haven't had a single problem. However, it is just one DB release older than the current ones. I typically wait a month or two before

Re: HD-EXT-USB-2000-C failing when USB cam connected at Rx side
I had to update the fw twice. It will reboot 3- 4 times. Takes about 12 - 15 minutes. Wait 20 minutes before power cycling the unit. Set the receive side to "Host" for the fw update. Once completely

Re: Socket Error on Weather module
The new SG weather sucks anyway. No text in the weather forecast, just numbers and an icon. The old weather would give you a full paragraph of context.

Re: Socket Error on Weather module
There is no need to add anything in Simpl for the VTPro Weather Application. They are two different things. The Weather Application was updated in a recent SG release for a new data provider. But it
