¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIf you haven¡¯t picked it up from me in the past I¡¯m fairly hard-core in the Cisco camp (and most of my direct clients are also Cisco houses), but having [met | spent a fair amount of time chatting with| etc.] Laurent, Netgear¡¯s product manager for AV and played with the M-series switches (in a fairly controlled fashion) if you¡¯re doing AVoIP and don¡¯t have a switch platform dictated from other reasons (client standard, etc.) it¡¯s hard to go wrong with the M4300, particularly if networking-beyond-just-plugging-cables-in isn¡¯t your strong suit. ? IIRC, the M4300 is out of the box configured to play well with just about all of the AVoIP options. As I recall (I haven¡¯t availed myself of it yet) they offer pretty in-depth support/hand-holding as well. ? It still feels a little weird to say I¡¯d recommend a Netgear product but there it is. -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]

Re: Newtonsoft.Json version 3.5.0.0
Reviving an old thread...in my attempt to revive my broken Sonos control I have inadvertently now broken my Nest Interface v1.4 for which I have carefully avoiding migrating to a Google account just to keep if functioning. ?Its giving me the JSON error version 3.5.0.0. ?Has anyone got this working yet? ?I realize its no longer supported so if we could stay focused that would be great...:)

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAll I can say is there anyway you can change switch brands? It works but it¡¯s not the greatest lots of settings to change and if you have other traffic ie Dante aes QLAN not a lot of fun to get them all to play nice?On Oct 5, 2020, at 8:19 AM, David Chramcow <dchramcow@...> wrote:

Re: Issues with Sonos & Crestron
Contacted TB and the gentleman I got was aware of a problem but was sticking to the 12 favorites rule. ?I¡¯d like to know if that actually works for anyone. ?It does not change a thing for me nor the system at the office. ?I believe that the problem is deeper than initially understood. ?I am not using the media player object on any of the broken sites. ?

Re: Issues with Sonos & Crestron
Yeah just to confirm, I¡¯ve been fiddling with it and no amount of adding or subtracting presets seems to fix the problem. ?I¡¯m back to the reboot roulette to see if I can at least get back to 2 of 3 device working. ?I saw someone mention that a HWR is needed and I can confirm that a simple SWR does not work.

Luma 510 NVR CH0 with TSW-1060
I'm trying to reliably display Channel 0 (Camera Grid) of a Luma 510 NVR on a Crestron TSW-1060.
Sometimes it works, sometimes black screen, sometimes opening the Luma mobile app will "kick" the TSW-1060 from black screen and the grid will display. No issue with individual camera display using the NVR as the display device (ex ?for camera 3, 65004 for camera 4, etc.).? That always works fine. I've tried MJPEG and H.264, setting the TSW video window appropriately to test each time. Also tried multiple resolutions, frame rates (15fps seems to work most often). This is the most successful stream string so far, where 2410 is the Luma 510 NVR HTTP port, but works only randomly: Simply trying to display the camera grid on the touchscreen. Any help with exact string examples would be appreciated. Thanks! -Mark |
Re: Issues with Sonos & Crestron
It's really sad because I really kind of like the simplicity of the MPO controlling Sonos.
Unfortunately Both Crestron and Sonos are at fault as far as I'm concerned, BUT the client thinks that its Crestron that's solely at fault and by extension the dealer/programmer (who has nothing that he/she can do to fix these things)... Remember when you could actually have reasonably reliable music integrated in a home system...distant memories.... |
Re: Issues with Sonos & Crestron
Yeah there definitely seems to be more going on here. ?I just erased all of my favorites but one on my system at home and no love. ?Still stuck with a Beam that has intermittent volume control, a Playbar that works perfectly and a S2 Connect that is dead in the water integration wise. ?

Re: Adding Zoom Room Native Controls to Crestron TSW's Zoom App
Yeah, I don't know if this is something Crestron is going to bother supporting themselves (since it's integrated into the app itself, updated through the Zoom admin page and not something they are in control of). If anything, they will more than likely just point everyone to the same link that Rick noted. Which, as it happens, is the same link we used as reference while developing our app.

Re: Simpl#/Series 3 module for Tesla vehicle control
#user_library
I agree, very cool.? I thought about writing an article on Tesla integration, and a module to go with it, but since I didn't own a Tesla I didn't think I could convince Elon to send me one for testing :-) Jay

Mute and call status are not working... only way I know of to get mute status is with Biamp's EX-UBT. On Sat, Oct 3, 2020 at 12:46 PM jones.matt94 via <jones.matt94=[email protected]> wrote: I used the standby to turn on the displays. |
