Losing URL encoding in S#
I'm trying to execute the following http command in s#
I've encoded the url within the http message as that is required by the system I'm sending the command to. However, after I execute the following string url =? "" HttpClient client = new HttpClient(); HttpClientRequest request = new HttpClientRequest(); HttpClientResponse response; request.KeepAlive = false; request.Url.Parse(url); When I print the url to the console by executing? CrestronConsole.Printline(request.Url.ToString());?? I get the following: The encoding I included in the url string has been removed and the other system rejects the command.?? Any ideas on how I can get S# to leave the encoding in my url string in place, or any other solution to this problem, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help Jay? |
Re: RoKu IP Control - again!
I also use the combination of the Crestron Certified driver and the "Roku 3 Series" from the files section. I just use the files section driver for app selection. Everything else I do with the Crestron driver.

Re: Lutron QS
That was the ticket. I had to remove the existing license and request a new one. Once that was done everything works like it should. Weird thing is that during my troubleshooting on a different processor, if there was no license present it wouldn¡¯t even pretend to connect. On the licensed processor with poopy license it would in fact connect but not transmit any data. With the new license it connected instantly and worked flawlessly.

I used: Roku 3 Series Release v1.1.zip
but I found I needed to add OSC to nav keys within the module, press down cmd just did not work reliably |
RoKu IP Control - again!
Hi All,
I'm looking into using IP to control the Roku platform, and for those who like it, here are some questions: ? 1. Which Module(s) in the files section do you recommend? Or is there another one better? ? 2. I would only use the ULTRA or the ULTRA LT (because of the ethernet connection). Any difference in capability/reliability of IP control for these?? ? 3. Other than needing DHCP reservations, any other reliability or feature issues with this control?? TIA!! |

2) 2
3) yes
4) Dante Audio Transmit can select between: HDMI?Input (TX or RX Mode),A Audio Input (TX or RX Mode), Secondary Audio Input (RX Mode Only)
5) Dante Audio Receive can be selected as audio source for HDMI Output, HDMI Output is then automatically selected as audio source for Analog Audio Output |

FUSION - is a customizable monitoring software Onprem/Cloud (think help desk options, energy management, higher education support desk Etc.) XIO Cloud - is for static monitoring of only provided (embedded types, names, ip address, etc) items are read only.... and only provide minimal configuration types at this time for certain devices, as this is expanding all the time.? thank you?? How is Crestron Fusion different from Xio Cloud?
#crestron
Hi all, Basically I have a system with around 30 conference rooms with (DM-NVX, mercury, TSW panels, soundbars, TST-902, AV3, Wireless gateways, etc) I need to find a platform to easily configure them when deploying them and then closely monitor and provide support to the clients if required. Here for my situation which flatform would be the best solution? |
Topics in Home Automation - New Article Published in Residential Tech Today Magazine
My latest blog post, "SwitchBot Review: An Easy (and Cheap) Way to Smarten Up Your Home¡± is being published by the good folks at Residential Tech Today Magazine on their web site.? During my recent article series on making appliances smart, I briefly touched on SwitchBots.? After I used them, I thought these great, little problem solvers deserved a more in depth look. You can find the full article here:? For those interested in earlier articles that I've written, you can find those here: For those interested in even earlier content I've written, you can find my blog here: I hope you find the information useful. Re: Amazon Alexa
Yes to echo Dragula (no pun intended) every site I have it integrated including my own home, it is very solid. One you get hang of using the proper invocation commands and it learns you, it just plain works. And using Alexa Routines makes it even easier to develop custom commands without any Simpl changes. Its much easier to walk into a room and issue commands to turn things on/off without having to grab an ipad/phone/remote or walk over to a touch panel.? ? ? |
Re: CrestronApp prob. H264 stream (android)
Hi I have the same problem but with tsw. Crestron told us to upgrade firmware of tsw and use on/off Digital join in embedded video to start and stop stream. Now We are testing this. ?r., 15 kwi 2020, 14:02 u?ytkownik <wyatt@...> napisa?: Streaming video with Crestron is problematic on IOS or even touch panels.? It's either slow to show or doesn't at all.? I have given up and we have started using ZoneMinder on a PC to transcode the streams to mjpeg, which is really the only stream Crestron likes.? Now video comes up instantly and reliably.? I'm sure there are other methods out there.? ZM installs in Linux and requires a little Linux knowledge, but the documentation is really good. |

Re: Amazon Alexa
We have 5 dots throughout our house using the Alexa/Crestron skill to control switching, display/room on/off, lighting throughout the house, etc and it works nearly perfectly.? I'd say a 2-5% failure on Crestron skill related commands. We've grown so accustomed to it now I think we'd be lost without it. I don't see much of an application commercially, but residential for sure.?
