I've done a few projects with the MicroSemi units and they seemed to work fine.?

As I had mentioned in another post, you will need to use shielded CAT cable for grounding of the End-points - OR ground the end-points - You're welcome! that cost me 2-3 days to learn...:) ? ? 2. Though Crestron has not been able to give me a cogent answer, the OLH note indicates that the 12+24 port units cannot service a full 12+24 units, even though the 6-port services 6 units - Typical Crestron. MicroSemi tech support has no explanation for this limitation and essentially disagrees with Crestron FWIW. Also, MicroSemi has no idea what the 'Switch must use 450W mode' means in the OLH note... The MicroSemi is reasonably priced and definitely makes for a cleaner Head-end... |

It's pretty sad that a mfg like Control4 has better camera integration than what Crestron can do.? We have a fairly decent solution with Crestron now, but I can't tell you how many hours we have spent trying to find a reliable solution and module. Ridiculous.

Please be advised. sharing or copying of processors images isn't allowed by the rules of the group, (as we cannot offer software when requested either) images are locked to devices per embedded encryption per device.? Contacting crestron support or even the 5 finger salute (Hw/r Sw/r?

RTSPURL : rtsp://192.168.2.253/rtspjpeg480p Nothing too taxing there. I tend to test the streams first using the diagnostics page In the TSW Setup. Generally if I can get it working there, then it will work in an embedded video window in the project. I'll try it with security enabled with un & pw. |

None of the DM products I've checked the specs on list Dolby Vision as being supported and I haven't tried passing it through since my Dolby Vision sources don't need to go through my DM chassis.? The 4KZ series products list HDR support, but make no mention of Dolby Vision.? I know you do mostly (all?) commercial, but Dolby Vision should be pretty common in residential applications, so I'm guessing someone on the list will know for sure.? I should probably figure out a way to rig up a test for this that doesn't require moving too much stuff around. Yeah, I'm using the same URLs, but with the username and password added, e.g., rtsp://admin:pass@.../rtsph2641080p. I'm also using "snapshots" for Dynamic Graphics on the camera selection buttons - .

I never had any issues viewing those streams on multiple TSW-1052s, 1060s, and with the Crestron App on iPhones or iPads. Answer ID 5195 has lots of good tips, but usually the first thing to check is that the frame-rate isn't too high. Sometimes it also helps to disable the video window on the touchpanel for a second, whenever the Camera page is first displayed, and any time another camera is selected. I'm sure there are others but play/pause is what I use most frequently. I think the ChromeCast volume output are also in there.

Louis, if you're using the stock v2.5 module from the Application Market, the address book functionality is WAY broken, and that's not the only thing wrong with it. The module hasn't been updated since February 2015 and has for all intents and purposes been abandoned by Crestron. Polycom has made lots of small changes in their API, some of them quite arbitrary, that have made different parts of this module nonfunctional or erratic as the years have gone by. If the address book is the only thing giving you headaches, that's not a bad place to be in, I suppose. I'd suggest running a search in the messages section of this forum, as I know this topic has come up before, and some folks had good suggestions at fixing this behavior. Hope this is helpful!
