Re: Anyone using Adelyte weather module? Stopped working yesterday

The solution is to increase the #WEATHER_LEN size sufficiently. I used 4000.

Just downloaded as "free" but when you go to Updrade it will charge you the
$99.99. maybe is like the traditional way free with limited and paid for
expanded. I cannot even run the Demo for some reason... And now requires

Another big +1 for BlueBolt. Recent anecdote: I was just now working on a CP3 remotely and--like a moron--typed "IPCONFIG /RELEASE" instead of "IPCONFIG /RENEW" in console. As you'd figure, yep, the CP3 is now offline never to return--without a remote power cycle from the trusty Panamax unit it's attached to. So thanks, BlueBolt, for fixing my late-night brain farts.

Hi All,
I'm at a cross-roads again regarding UPSs. Have used Tripp-lite years ago
(had some issues) and recently Middle Atlantic, which I like although they
are not 'On-Line' technology.

I recently had a conversation with a Tripp-lite sales guy and he was showing
me the new line (SU1000RTXLCD2U, et. al.). On-Line, smaller form-factor,
optional net card, lower price.

What are peoples' experience with this line (TripLite)?
What issues have you had?
What other units do people use?
etc.

Thanks,
Chris K..............;)

White TPMC-3x? customer DEMANDS one...

Dear group,

our customer ordered 13 TPMC-3x remotes, but is demanding that we make them white.

Our rep told us that whilst Crestron themselves do not do this, there was a company that custom-modded the remote, but he cannot find the details.

Did anyone come across this mystical Crestron modder? ;-)

We have about 30 TSW-750s in white, 50 C2NI-CB keypads in white, 13 TPMC-3x wall chargers in white... and the remotes are black.

Most obliged,

Paul

The amp is an AAE.
Originally this location was a TV, using DM for distribution.
Two CAT5 and a Penta (5x mini-RG59) were pulled to the location.
Now the client wants "better" sound and has requested a sound bar.
I was thinking of using a RMC-200 with the amp, but that seems a tough
upsell with 6 TVs in the same situation...

Argh, take-over jobs, the bane of my existence.

Re: Sharp residential display

Yes, this is starting to come up a lot. We have to send power on twice for
the polling to show it on. We are also seeing the Sharps stop responding
and even sending back ERR when selecting an input without a valid video
signal on it. It's becoming a huge problem on what used to be pretty
reliable products.

I received the OK\x0D from it. Unless I sent another power on command

So basically I had to power on, delay polling for about 15s, and then
pulse another power on 10s after the first power on (both receiveing the OK
command)

power plug to restart it). Most of the commands get a relatively quick
reply but power on takes a long time.

Did you get the reply after the power on command before sending the poll?

Has anyone else had an issue with polling while display is going through
its
power on sequence?

Model: LC-80le633u

Seems that if you poll power during this time with POWR? \x0D it responds
with 0\x0D even though its on. If this happens no polling commands work.
I
had to buffer serial commands during this time and disable it with a
delay
of about 15s.

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??

Another alternative - switch everything over to soundbars or local
receiver/amps, and distribute SPDIF with an IVDS (or other composite-video
switcher).

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??

Use an analog to digital adapter to convert the two channel analog to SPDIF
digital signal on coax. Get a soundbar that's takes coaxial digital in and
control it with IR. Set the output of your Pad8a to line level.

Those adapters are less than $100.

New Crestron App native

Hi,This is already working?

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??

Heath Volmer

I'm concerned about the "wants better sound" part of this.

You could get a little behind-the-TV amplifier (Sonance ASAP3) and just generate the sound through the TV/DM. (Doesn't necessarily help on audio-only sources, of course.)

Tough spot to be in. Need a PAD8 and run the line audio up the RG59s.

Heath
