New VT Pro position and size changes...
Anyone using the new VT Pro/Smart Graphics?? I recently transitioned to a new laptop, opened some TP layouts I've been working on and found that the new VT has moved positions of all of my subpages and lists for the video switcher object.? When I put them back in the correct place, save then reopen the file, they go back to the wrong places again.?
Anyhow, does anyone have a solution?? Calling Crestron probably is the answer, or possibly rolling back to an older VT Pro version....speaking of, if I wanted to do that, where could I get an old installer? Thanks, Voodoo |

For those of you that have one of the 1920x1080 or 1200 screens on a 15" notebook - and whose eyes are not 20/20. Is adjusting the windows text DPI setting effective in the Crestron programs? Are there other gotchas to watch for. I know that some software doesn't pay attention.
I may need to get a Windows-only machine (we aren't going to talk about BootCamp) and the HP workstation model we are looking at only ships with the super-hi-res screen. My eyes aren't those of my youth... Heath |

Re: Clearone XAP800 - Dialer
All the time, the protocol is very similar between the AP10 and the XAP version, usually just a different "device type" parameter.? There may be an extra "channel" parameter in the XAP dialer, which is a fixed "1" for the line number, I can't remember if the AP's required that same parameter in the control string or not.
There should be modules available for it from Crestron, or you can create your own pretty easily as well. I should mention that the dialers are not on the AP800 or the XAP800, but are seperate units, the AP10, or TH-1/2 are the stand-alone dialers.? There was also a XAP480T that had a dialer.? The 800's didn't get dialers integrated into them until the ConvergePro 880T model, before that, you had to use the stand-alone dialers models with the 800's. ---In Crestron@..., <avsystemdesign@...> wrote: Has anyone controlled the dialer on a Clearone/Gentner XAP800? Re: OT: Digital Annotation Devices
From my experience with the annotation on the DVPHD, no you're NOT missing anything.? I would highly suggest using a Boeckler Pointmaker or something else, as it has more features, and you don't have spend a bunch of time "trying to get it work right" like with the Crestron. The other problem I had with DVPHD annotation, (this was doing remote annotation from one TP to the DVPHD), was the lag was so bad, you couldn't even draw a circle on it, as it would come out looking more like a diamond shap due to the processing lag of the annotation input. ---In Crestron@..., <jpride@...> wrote: Am I missing something with Crestron Annotation engines (i.e. DVPHD, DGE-2) or are they really this rinky dink in their feature sets?
