Re: PC Monitoring
There are frequent power outages so I want to put a UI message for someone to reboot it and send me an email. There is a dedicated software that runs 24/7 that it might be good to restart after

Re: PC Monitoring
Are you looking to establish whether the PC (or a specific application on the PC) is responsive, or whether the PC has simply been powered off by the user?? What do you want the behavior to be, if

PC Monitoring
I need to monitor a Windows PC for its power state so I can throw an offline page on a UI and send an e-mail. I'm assuming I just need to set up a TCP Client for it and watch it's connection status.

Does anyone know this programmer, or how to reach him? I'm trying to find the program for an old system that has his name in the comments... Thanks in advance.

Re: combine serial strings to a single string
Otherwise, if you're looking to do more than just displaying the temperature on a SG button... I'd probably use SIMPL+ to perform ITOA conversions and serial concatenations. Here's an example of

Re: combine serial strings to a single string
Sounds like you want to use Dynamic Analog Text on a button to display a TSTAT temp value? You would specify something like %3.1f to display a 720d as 72.0.

Fios Back Button - VMS1100 vs. VMS4100 IR function
Hi All, Anyone get reports of an issue with the Back(Prev) button and the VMS4100? My IR code set that works great with the VMS1100 works fine with the 4100 except for the Back button. It generally

Re: Crestron Home
This is the way. Both ports. Separate the AES67 from control. Sonos and control on the same VLAN as the CHome processor.

Re: CHV-TSTAT Cresnet Issue
Take the tstat to the rack and connect locally and see if boots normally with a shorter/different cable. Actually would be easier to just swap another tstat and see if the ¡°new¡± one boots normally

Re: CHV-TSTAT Cresnet Issue
If you've tested for shorts on the cable, I think your best bet is to find a used unit on ebay...you'll definitely pay the same/more to have it repaired (Not including your time to process

Re: CHV-TSTAT Cresnet Issue
Thanks. I¡¯d agree that the TSTAT cresnet chip has gone. I¡¯ve reterminated the cable twice so I¡¯m sure it¡¯s not the cable. I¡¯ll open a ticket but not sure if the repair cost is worth it given

Re: Crestron Home
Steve, I think that would¡¯ve worked for me but that switch doesn¡¯t have the necessary settings like Cisco.

Re: Crestron Home
Thank you everyone! I put the NAX on its own VLAN and it was working with Sonos staying online. Noticed in the config of NAX it was originally pointed to the CP4R via the hostname rather than the IP.

Re: CHV-TSTAT Cresnet Issue
If the Cresnet cable is only landed on the Cresnet connector, and they are properly assigned on both ends, I would say that there is an issue with your cable (nail or mouse chew causing a short) or

Re: CHV-TSTAT Cresnet Issue
Thank you both for the input. Disconnecting the 24v from the Cresnet wire lets the processor boot but the TSTAT is not discoverable then in CH. I have the jumper in the top position and R -> RH, W->
