If the Cresnet cable is only landed on the Cresnet connector, and they are properly assigned on both ends, I would say that there is an issue with your cable (nail or mouse chew causing a short) or something with the TStat Cresnet chip.
I would verify that there are no shorts on the cable and check all of your other connections.?
