FS: Yaesu FT100 HF/VHF/UHF all mode plus FC-20 autotuner
I have for sale a Yaesu FT100 HF/VHF/UHF all mode transceiver. This is the mobile sized radio which does 100 watts on HF and 6 meters, 50 watts on 2m, and 20 watts on 70cm. Full of plenty of other features as well, include tone encode, built in keyer with 1 keyer memory, SWR meter, and wideband receive. It does not have any optional filters installed. It comes with the radio and a mic which has the rubber cover deteriorating, and the PTT switch is Iffy. I would suggest replacing the, you can get them cheaply off of Amazon or ebay. It doesn't have a power cord with it. The pigtail has bare wires on the end so you can install any sort of power connector you like. Works fine on transmit and receive. Case is in good shape overall with a few marks here and there. I am asking $410 shipped in the US. I can take paypal/check/MO. I have the matching FC-20 autotuner for sale which works fine and comes with interface cable. Asking $125 shipped for it. IT also works with the Yaesu FT847 transceiver. Has 2 antenna jacks with an antenna switch. 73 John AF5CC

Yaesu FT-2000 Deluxe HF Transceiver, Power Supply, Crystal filters For Sale: . Yaesu FT-2000 Deluxe HF Transceiver: The Yaesu FT-2000 follows in the tradition of venerable FT-1000 series, and incorporates an amazing number of advanced features from the FT-9000 series. This rig has just about every thing one can think of, and a bunch that you probably would not think of. The FT-2000 provides a full 100 watts of power output (AM: 25 Watts) on the 160-6 Meter Amateur bands. Superb continuous receive from 30 kHz to 60 MHz is provided. The receiver front-end includes a VRF (Variable RF Tuning) preselector which works in conjunction with a bank of fixed bandpass filters. This provides a front-line defense against strong out of band signals. The result is improved dynamic range and a higher intercept point than other designs. The First IF roofing filters (3/6/15 kHz) increase dynamic range in crowded band conditions. Variable IF Width and IF Shift allow precise interference rejection, and the receiver DSP also includes an Auto-Notch, Manual Notch, Digital Noise Reduction, and a continuously- variable passband Contour control. The WIDTH control has a mode-determined adjustment range of 200 Hz to 4 kHz for SSB, and 25 Hz to 2.4 kHz on CW. You have tremendous control over the fidelity and/or “talk power” of your SSB signal, thanks to the variable SSB bandwidth capability. The DMU-2000 Data Management Unit is optional. With this much sophistication, you might think that everything would be buried under a dozen menus. Although it does have menus, most of those items are for things that are seldom changed. The things you use the most have knobs and buttons on the front panel, making it easier to use. It requires 13.8 V DC at 22 amps. An Astron SS-30 is an ideal power supply for it. This particular unit works as it should. It looks like new, and is still in its original box. It includes the color advertising brochure with the regular manual. Buy it for $950. . Astron SS-30 Power Supply: The Astron SS-30 is a very common power supply in ham shacks. This is because it is just what is needed to power a normal 100 Watt HF rig, with a little bit extra to spare. It supplies 13.8 V DC at up to 30 amps intermittent, or 25 amps continuous. It is a switching type power supply, so it is quite light weight. I have used several of these, and have never found any switching noise. This one has a very slight positive modification As supplied by Astron there is no indication of when the power is on. A small light has been added to the right of the power switch to indicate that power is on. This one works 100% as it should, and looks very close to new. Buy it with paper work for $100 SS-30 M As above, but with analog voltmeter and analog ammeter. With paper work for $120 . Yaesu Crystal Filters: I have a variety of crystal filters available that fit Yaesu rigs. All of these filters work 100% like they should, and look great also. The following filters are for the 8.2 MHz IF. They fit the FT-1000 series, plus many, many others. If you have a fairly modern Yaesu rig, they probably fit, but check you manual. Yaesu XF-8.2M-251-01, 250 Hz CW filter for the 8.215 MHz IF. $75 Yaesu XF-8.2M-202-01, 2000 Hz SSB filter for the 8.215 MHz IF. $75 The following filters are for the 455 KHz IF. They fit the FT-1000 series, FT-890, plus many others. If you have a fairly modern Yaesu rig, they probably fit, but check you manual. As a general statement, the filters for the 455 KHz IF are sharper, with steeper skirts. XF-455K-501-01 (YF-100) 500 Hz wide for CW $115 . I also have many other accessories available such as many different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories, etc. Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests. . Prices do not include shipping from Florida. Thanks. 73, Ken, W8EK Ken Simpson E-mail to W8EK@... or W8EK@... Voice Phone (352) 732-8400 .

FS: Yaesu FT480 2 meter all mode, excellent condition
For those of you who like to collect and use the older Yaesu rigs, I have for sale from a local estate a Yaesu FT480 2 meter all mode radio. It comes in the original box with the stryofoam inserts, original manual which still has the warranty card, and the bag of parts which includes the mic clip holder, fuses, a spare plastic connector for the PL tone board jack on the radio, the tilt bail, and the screws for the mobile mount. What it doesn't come with is the hand mic, power cord or mobile bracket This rig looks about as close to mint as you will get for a radio of this age. The case and face look perfect. There is a small amount of scratching on the side rails where the mobile bracket would attach to allow the radio to slide in and out of the bracket. The 2 pin plastic connector on the bottom of the radio, which I believe is for the memory back up power source, is missing one of its sides, but it still should work. The PL tone board connector looks excellent. Since there is no power cord, I have not way of testing this. I will say I sold a FT680 6 meter radio from this estate and it worked fine, as did most of the other radios I sold for this ham. I am asking $105 shipped for this radio, which will be in the original box put inside another box. I can take paypal/check/MO. 73 John AF5CC

4 pin power cord and gender changer for sale
I have for sale 2 items for Yaesu rigs like the FT450/950/2000 ( and a few other radios). 1. 4 pin power cord used in most modern HF radios. 6 feet long, spade type fuses in both lines. Each line consists of 2 cables, for a total of 4 cables. Handled 100 watt radios with no problem. 2. Several Yaesu radios use a male DB-9 connector for computer control. Many of the USB to serial cables you buy off of ebay or Amazon have a male DB-9 on the one end. So here is your solution! I have a DB-9 female to female gender changer plug. Insert one end into the male connector on your rig, and now you have a female DB-9 connector to plug your cable into. Great for CAT control of your radio. This one is 2 to 3 inches long, made out of hard plastic, and built like a tank. It should hold up very well. I am asking $22 shipped for both. I can take paypal/check/MO/cash/cashapp. 73 John AF5CC

It also has the 528-8686-030 Collins number on it. It is for a 455 KHz IF. My understanding is that it fits YAESU FT-817/ 857/897/818, and maybe others. It includes the PC board with connectors. This one works 100% as it should. It also looks like new, as if that matters for a filter inside a rig. Buy it for $250, plus shipping from Florida. Yaesu FT450 ribbon cable fix 4
n an unfortunate set of events, I managed to pull out the ribbon cable which joins the head to the body of the transceiver, on the body of the transceiver end. While trying to reseat it, the plastic bar that holds it in place broke. So I am guessing that the jack will need to be replaced. Does anyone on the list have experience with this type of repair? Is it going to be very difficult/time consuming/expensive? Any advice would be appreciated. 73 John AF5CC

Yaesu FT450 final transistor issues? 2
Here what was recently posted on an eham.net review for a different radio: ".re: the FT-450 used at the same price...there is a reason... long history of losing the finals." Has anyone else heard of this? I did a quick google search and could find nothing about this supposed history. If there are final transistor issues, is this just for the FT450AT or for the FT450D as well? Any links supporting this claim would be interesting to see as well. 73 John AF5CC

Yaesu FT-710 5
Howdy Amigos; I bought an FT-710 about a year ago when I got my General license. It has worked great so far, and I am using it in my work to promote Amateur Radio in the SF Bay Area. Recently it has started causing me problems, and I cant figure it out. What happens is that I can hook it up just fine, and run WSJT to access FT8. It sees all the other stations, but when I go to transmit, the radio shuts itself off. *click". I have tried both using HRD for Cat Control, and having WSJT handle CAT itself, same problem. Sometimes I can transmit enough to make a contact, others I have to keep turning the radio back on and trying to complete an exchange. I backed out of FT8, and tried transmitting with the mike. As soon as I speak, KAPOW. Its a deader. I tried backing the power back to 50w, and it seems happier, but 75 croaked it again. Any ideas what the problem is? I was demoing the radio in front of a large group of new hams when it decided to start this, and it looked pretty bad.

Yaesu FT450 items for sale
I have a few extra items that came with a Yaesu FT450D I recently purchased. Love the rig, just don't need these extras: 1. a set of side rails with handles for the FT450 series of radios. These are the rails that attach to the side of the radio using the mobile mounting bracket holes and provide handles in the front for carrying and protection. I have no need for them as the radio is being used in my shack, not portable. They appear to have been 3D printed, but they could be commercially made. I am asking $16 shipped 2. The original box with inserts for a Yaesu FT450D which will also fit the FT450AT. Great shape, good way to store your FT450 or to send it in for updates or ship to a buyer. I will wrap it in heavy paper for shipping so it doesn't get any labels or marks on it. I am asking $28 shipped. 3.I also have the original operators manual for the Yaesu FT450D. There are a few pencil notes in if that could be removed if wanted. These are only in a few places and don't look objectionable, and you might even find them useful.I am asking $11 shipped by media mail. Feel free to make an offer on one or all also! I can take paypal/check/MO/Cashapp. 73 John AF5CC

FS: Yaesu FT890 parts radio
I have for sale a Yaesu FT890 HF radio that is a parts or fix up unit. Case is in decent condition with some scratches on it. It has no optional filters installed, and comes with the radio only, no mic or power cord. Here are the issues with it: 1. Receives on FM mode ok, no receive on other modes-maybe a damaged ceramic SSB filter, as I am guessing that all modes but FM pass through it. That is just a guess, though. I could hear some FT8 stations when in FM mode so it is receiving there. 2. Putting out around 1 to 2 watts max. The meter shows full output, but an external meter only shows a couple of watts. I could hear its carrier on another receiver. 3. SWR meter shows a high SWR even though the antenna has a low SWR, might be related to #4 4. It has the internal antenna tuner installed but it doesn't seem to work. Couldn't find a match after a minute or so. The display is fine, all buttons seem to work fine, VFO dial spins freely. It could have other issues I have not been able to find. It is being sold as-is, not working correctly. I am asking $175 shipped and can take paypal/check/MO. 73 John AF5CC

FS FTDX-9000D (pair) loaded/ w SP-9000 speakers
Hi all, I've decided to sell my beloved pair of 9000s. I wanted to give the Yaesu owners first chance to purchase them. #1 FTDX-9000D - pastel blue LEDs. 10/10 cosmetic and function. Factory box. SP-9000 also 10/10 included. PEP Upgrade. #2 FTDX-9000 (fully upgraded Contest, for all intents and purposes a full D) 10/10 cosmetic and function. PEP Upgrade. Factory box has all the D options checked except internal TFT screen & 160 u-tune unit. I purchased and installed the 160 u-tune unit, works perfectly and all u-tune units are now there. Instead of the TFT, it has the extra meters and function knobs where the TFT normally goes (just like the MP 400W model). Umber (amber) display. SP-9000 also 10/10 included. Since the Contest does not have an internal monitor, I am including a 12" Eyoyo external monitor (driven by the DMU-9000). Included with each will be a Signalink USB data/digital sound card box configured for the 9000 ($100+ value). Also available for sale is an OM-2000A+ set up and cabled for the 9000s (I have an auto-switch network to select whichever rig is on). 160m-6m, EU model with low drive (no attenuator like the USA model has). Serious buyers contact me offlist at ab2e@.... Great chance to pick up a spare 9000, or upgrade to one, those of you who are on the 5000 list. See my QRZ.com page for a picture of the complete station (right half of desk, OM Power amp sitting on black table to right of desk). Willing to drive to meet. Really want to avoid shipping for obvious reasons. Will drive to meet a reasonable distance, or demo and pickup at my QTH in southern NJ (25 min due East of HRO Delaware, 10 min from Gloucester Co ARC Hamfest site in Mullica Hill).
