Ebay has brackets, maybe ask the samba or FB groups too. I've done a few AC systems on larger vehicles like suburbans and these vans. My input is: it's worth it to invest in the tools to make your AC.

I may be the dissenting opinion here, but when I equipped my Westy (90 EJ22) with AC, I surveyed the local junk yards and concluded that brackets from almost any 4-cyl Subaru through 2001 would work.

what I bought: * a rebuilt compressor (I don't recall which) * hoses & fittings from coldhose. * a big condenser that I mounted on the roof at an angle with fans. bigger is better. * two air handlers

Yes, it came with the donor motor; who the heck knows how many hours on it.? I had screwed up my upfront condenser by twiddling around, so a donor was supplied for that too, $100.? In hindsight,

Mine is an 85 Tintop, with EJ22 motor and Subie A/C compressor.? It was diagnosed as some small leak in Evaporator.? This is the HUGE thing in an 85 Tintop that hangs behind driver compartment.?

I would suggest giving outfront motorsports a call.? They can supply a Bracket w/ Adjuster and everything, plus a new A/C pump that takes the typical 0-ring based fittings (not supplied but any A/C
