I have a 1990 Vanagon with a 1990 (I think) Subaru 2.2 (I bought it converted).
I'm thinking about hooking up the A/C system and it does not have a compressor on the engine. I need hoses/fittings for the compressor that I don't have so I figured a wrecking yard for those (hoses) and then a new Subaru compressor.
?
My question... Does it matter what year "compressor with hoses still attached" I pick? Is a better year/model better than others? Is there something to avoid?
