Start with simple checks like listen to fuel pump working, strange noises indicate clogged fuel filter, clogged fuel tank or pump itself Engine needs most fuel when accelerating hard, it "stutters"

Hi Henry, If your tach was working with your 1.9L WBS engine - the wire for your tach will already be in the Black Junction box in the engine bay. You should be able to just connect it up
