I picked up my rebuilt EJ22 heads from the local machine shop last
night and I am putting them back together today. One thing that
appears to be missing is the black plastic cover that protects that
camshaft and oil seal on the left head, on the flywheel end of the
engine. Is there a special oil seal that comes with this cover on it?
Can I get by without this dust cover?
