Hi all im having a issue that im just starting to trouble shoot.
94 ej22 the van stutters and acts like its flooding or running with a
choke valve partialy closed.
This happens on hard acceleration most pronounced in 3rd and 4th gears
but im sure its the same in 1st and 2nd
just not as noticable. If I back out of the accelerator and drive
modestly all is fine. I inspected the
air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor and all is good there. As far as
CEL codes go my CEL always pops
up for the trans nutral position code. Its been so long that I forgot
wich connector to couple to check
for codes is it the green or black pair or both. On condition of the
engine I had it smoged 3 weeks ago and
it tested in way above average, so with that I would like to think the
plugs and wires can also be rueled out
as part of the problem. Some more info my harness was done by Leon K
with a VSS installed in
my tach.
