Re: Looking for an EJ22
Not sure yet. I was initially thinking head gasket but it¡¯s beginning to appear to be more catastrophic than that. I haven¡¯t pulled it apart yet, and it didn¡¯t overheat. I drained the oil pan

Re: Looking for an EJ22
Steve did my last engine and I had a catastrophic failure at 11k miles. I emailed and called since I¡¯m within warranty mileage wise, but I'm outside the 12 month window. I haven¡¯t heard back yet.

Re: High and sticky RPM
The same is true when cleaning up IACV or Throttle Body.? You have now just introduced new parameters....that is, a clean system.? ECU is not familiar with these new parameters.? No sweat..it will

Re: Electrical Help
Rich, I'd be happy to help out. I just put on 04 outback ej25 in my 86 (but with the RWM kit (do not believe this changes anything electrical)). I built my own harness and have all wires well

Re: High and sticky RPM
Yes!? ECU is constantly making incremental adjustments.? It will only do a little bit at a time...by design.? Might even take 20 start/drive/shut-down cycles, but eventually it will get to where it

Re: High and sticky RPM
Im back! Took me a while, with my travels and crappy weather I finally got the VSS to the ECU. ?Took me forever because I am using the VSS from the GoWesty CC kit. ?While I had the dash apart I did

Re: Stumble/misfire under load EJ22
I¡¯ve had similar issues in the past which were revealed to be a hairline crack in one of the spark plug wires intermittently shorting to the block or intake. Sometimes you can run it in the dark and
