Re: Fuel Injector choices...
There is no need to get concerned about "flow matching"or "matched
injectors" for our engines. This is for racing only and not Vanagons aniway

I have been following this thread with interest. I am a novice in the area of fuel injection but having read far too many articles on the topic I have become convinced injectors should be "Flow

Re: 2006 EJ25 in a 91 2WD Westy with auto tranny
Not sure which year the change took place but yes ~ the height diff' is totally due to a taller IntakeManifold & Injector assembly.

Re: Fuel Injector choices...

Re: 2006 EJ25 in a 91 2WD Westy with auto tranny

Re: 2006 EJ25 in a 91 2WD Westy with auto tranny
Just with the Kennedy engine mount it seems.
I've got an EJ25 in my syncro using the smallcar engine mount system
and the deck lid is stock.

Re: Fuel Injector choices...
I had good luck spraying them with WD-40/prenatrating oil or simular and twist a few times with a light grip from large vice grips. I then insert a huge screw driver thru the gap of the open jaws

Are you guys saying that all EJ25 engines require spacers or only if you use the Kennedy adapter?

Are you guys saying an EJ25 is taller than an EJ22? Where would the spacers be placed?
