This field director position work will be primarily based in Northern Virginia so ideal candidates should be based in the vicinity. Candidates should be SOI qualified (or at the very minimum have a master’s degree or substantial experience) and have a firm understanding of laws such as section 106 of the NRHP. Candidates will need to be able to lead Phase I surveys. GIS and artifact identification skills would also be beneficial.
