Re: SCU-17 Behind The Raspberry Pi?
Which Pi are you using?? If it's the Pi5 the software may not be compiled for it. Pi5 changed the address of the GPIO due to using a separate chip. The GPIO libraries that run on the older Pi's won't

Re: Seqence of Events on RPI with Pi-Star
Hi Norm,
To answer your curiosity about how the system works, both the operating system and the Pi-Star software are on the card; the image that you download as a special copy of the operating system

Re: Seqence of Events on RPI with Pi-Star
Sorry….. no you don’t need to change data on the Nextion screen! All the images are pre-loaded and will automatically change on the detected transmission or mode or modes you have selected.

Re: Seqence of Events on RPI with Pi-Star
There are pre-compiled images for the raspberry Pi here.
https://www.pistar.uk/downloads/
Read the comprehensive instructions and use Etcher to burn the downloaded image file. Insert into Pi, use

Seqence of Events on RPI with Pi-Star
Am curious as to HOW does RPI work?
Do you have to load the RPI operating system onto RPI first
Then Program the SD Card with Pi-Star ?
I would "think" that the RPi has it's software on board.? When

Re: Decoder for CW practice?
I did give Fldigi a quick try as I've used it with success before on Windows, but my initial attempts on the RPI failed to decode my keying although it was working okay with CW in all other

Re: Pi5 12v supply
- Note that on the graphics shown, it's only 3A per USB-C cable so for a fully loaded Rpi5, that will be 2A too little
- This looks better
I don't think the Rpi5 supports USB PD (power

Re: Decoder for CW practice?
One possible way would be to write a python script that reads a GPIO pin (or two, one for dots and one for dashes if you want an iambic paddle), plays a tone using the simpleaudio library. Then use

Re: Decoder for CW practice?
Hi
I may misunderstand what you want but I think Fldigi would work. I decodes CW and other digital modes just fine.
Like I said I may not know just what you are looking for Fldigi and other software

Re: remote
Robert,
Yes and that setup is rather very easy because you can just link your Network to it and not worry about going outside of your home network and come back in through your I.P. provider.

Re: remote
Over wifi - easily. As long as SSH is enabled and you have login credentials
for the unit, it's the same as just about any other Linux server.
