Re: Seqence of Events on RPI with Pi-Star
The link to Nextion editor and background HMI files. IMPORTANT….. HMI files require compiling first. Duplex or simplex frequencies also need inputting too before you compile (they don’t actually do anything other than tell you the frequency for reference).?
?This is the screen I’m using?
See the duplex frequencies are pre-set!
?You will also need to decide if your MMDVM is private or public but private requires you to setup the DMR ID’s for example for access. Public is a security risk and wide open but it’s up to you and if you are portable or remote location then you may wish to use public.
? ?So just to recap. Radio modem type mine is MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat Pi GPIO
Modem baud rate : 115200
MMDVM display type : Nextion (enhanced w/driver, attached to modem)?
Port: Modem
Layout type: G4KLX?
Host name, callsign, DMR/CS7 ID, NXDN ID, radio frequency Tx, radio frequency RX, system time zone, dashboard language ….. are all personal to you and only you will have that information.
Same with longitude and latitude, town etc.
If you want to use with DMR then just flick the DMR switch and leave everything else unticked.
?All other settings like BrandmeisterMaster and Brandmeister security can be touched upon later.
as with DMR+ etc.
