Re: Tethering
I have a D500, and assume it has the same connection on the camera body as the D810. I tried a cheap usb but it didn¡¯t connect reliably. So went with the orange cable from TetherPRO. No issues,

Re: Tethering
I connect my 810 to my laptop with a tether cable, using LR on my laptop. Seamless and puts the image file into the folder you select in LR. Nick Ariemma

Zane, I¡¯m just getting into this after a 3 yr break. I¡¯m just looking to get good images from old negs. I¡¯m aiming for striking images rather than journalistic ones. Probably lots of deep blacks

That rings a few bells, Zane except that I opted for a Windows based system as I was using it extensively at work. Good luck sorting it all out. Bob Sent from

It sounds like our setups have some of the same problems. All my disk space is on the Mac Pro, it has 4 internal drives, as well as 3 external drives, and a Drobo. So adding external space to the

Re: Zane's workflow
Hi, Zane. As long as your workflow is only "borderline," I think you're in good company. I'm not nearly as organized / structured as you are. The vast majority of my files are on a very aging Dell XPS

Re: Lightroom
Lightroom is 100% non-destructive. So any changes that you make are stored in an xmp file along side of the raw file so long as you enable the xmp files, otherwise, it is stored in the catalog. Either

Flickr can be free or a paid membership. You get much more storage with paid. Personally I have been paid for several years, but don¡¯t use it much. Kelly Sent: Monday, April 3, 2023 2:59 PM To:
