WSJTX Integration 9
Unable to find an answer here, maybe someone can help me out. Trying to use N3FJP to control WSJTX. I have my rig selected in ACLog, and WSJTX rig set to N3FJP. Both programs are reading the band and frequency from the rig that way. So far, so good. However, the PTT options don't work....leaving it set on CAT doesn't work, neither do RTS or DTR. I'm using USB so not surprising. WSJTX pops up "Invalid PTT". Is VOX the only option here, or am I missing something? Thanks!

Bulk change of mode to SSB? 6
I was having trouble with my autotuner during the IDXC SSB contest and was switching from SSB to AM to get the tuner to tune properly before going back to SSB. Unfortunately, the logging software still thought I was in AM mode. Somewhere around 40 contacts need to be corrected to SSB from AM. Is there a way to do a mass edit? Or do I need to manually change each log entry? Thanks! 73, Ken KN2D

Strange happening with ARRL DX Log 5.17 - Did not Flag New Multipler 2
During the contest N3FJP program 5.1.7 failed to identify a new multiplier. See the attached screenshot that shows the entry and the result of the 'find' showing the 2 other instances of Dominica (different bands) but the 'NEW' is not indicated on the entry screen. After performing the 'enter' the multiplier count did increment properly. Not idea if this is repeatable. I am not sure if this appeared anywhere else during the contest. Otherwise, the program performed its usual greatness -- 73 -- Bruce, WA3AFS

ARRL IN DX Contest Log not working properly 3
I tried the 5.1.7 which is for USA users and there is no place to put the ST/Prov and I have to put in my power on every entry, but it correctly shows my Exchange properly. I tried the 3.7.7 for users outside the USA and it has the St/Prov, but shows my exchange to be my call, RST, power Help...it's not working. Walt WB4ZUT

ACL and partial callsign lookup for POTA 2
GM—I enjoy POTA using the ACL program's POTA container features. While activating POTA, all contacts are logged in a single POTA master file. Sometimes, I can only get a partial callsign. Is there an option in ACL that can be turned on to look at the history file and offer partial lookups like in many of the N3FJP contest software applications? Paul KC5CYY

Request for new feature 2
I would love to see two new options addedf to the DX spotting: 1. Ability to erase the spots. Soetimes it is filled with spots that are out of date, 2. Ability to have spots dissapear after so many minutes. A spot in a contest older that 30 minutes is probably worthless.

Oklahoma QSO Party Digital Mode not available 2
GM - I plan to participate in the OK QP next weekend, March 8/9 and have downloaded and installed the latest N3FJP—OKQP software. I was not offered digital mode when testing the software, but the rules allow digital, like PSK (NO FT8/FT4). Any thoughts? Paul / KC5CYY

Frequencies in contesting software 3 #contest
I am 100% new at how 开云体育 works so please forgive me if this topic has already been discussed. I Love N3FJP's software so I purchased the whole package, so all the contesting software is registered. The problem I am not like and/or having is I don't have the option to put in the frequencies when I am doing a contest in one of the contesting software. I use the Contest software so I can receive points at the end of the contest however, I do not have a radio where the rig interface is an option, so I don't know what frequency I am on after I upload it to my general log. I don't know if there is an option for me to manually put the frequency in the contest software. Any help would be greatly appreciated

N3FJP ACLog and Contest Programs Use of COM Ports 5
I am evaluating the N3FJP products to determine whether to purchase the package and use N3FJP for general logging and contests. I have a couple of questions so far that I was hoping to get answers for here. This posting is lengthy because I'm trying to be thorough in providing information on my station and what I've seen during this evaluation. 1) I first installed ACLog and used the program - I like it! I then downloaded a contest (ARRL Int'l. DX Contest), and discovered that it installs as a separate program from ACLog. Do all of the various contests install as separate programs, resulting in a list of ACLog + contests under the Windows Start menu folder for "N3FJP Software - Affirmatech"? Do users keep these various contest programs after the contest is over, or do they save away the contact information (ADIF, Cabrillo or some other means) and then delete the completed contest program? 2) I have a question regarding Comport utilization. Here is my station setup: - Elecraft KX3 transceiver and KXPA100 amplifier. I utilize the full Elecraft integration between the rig and amp; - 2013 Macbook Pro (Intel based) running Windows 10 HE through Boot Camp (I have no desire in subscribing to Parallels). The MBP has a single USB Serial Port; - External SoundBlaster sound card for "Line In" communication usage; - Win4K3 Suite for rig interface/control using the single MBP USB Serial Port - Very happy with this with no plans to abandon it; - com0com Virtual Comport software I first loaded ACLog and created/used a pair of com0com virtual ports to link ACLog with Win4K3. This required using one of the Win4K3 Aux/CAT Ports in the 3rd Party HW/SW tab of Win4K3 Settings to assign one of the comport pair to Win4K3. In ACLog I used the Rig Interface Setup to connect to the "Elecraft" rig through the other comport of the pair. Communication seems to work fine for frequency, band, and mode across the KX3, Win4K3 and ACLog. Later, I loaded and opened the ARRL Int'l DX Contest program. I found that I could not use the same pair of virtual comports that I used with ACLog. I created a new pair of virtual ports, ran through the same setup steps as I did with ACLog, and again communication seems to work fine. However I had to use another of the Win4K3 Aux/CAT Ports in the 3rd Party HW/SW tab of Win4K3 Settings to assign one of the comport pair created for the contest program to Win4K3. There are a total of 6 Aux/CAT Ports available. I'm curious how users handle this with the multiple N3FJP contest programs? So to summarize my questions: 1) How do users manage/retain the multiple N3FJP programs (ACLog + multiple contests)? 2) Regarding Win4K3, how do users manage the 6 available Aux/CAT Ports for assigning comports with the multiple separate N3FJP logging programs? My thanks to anyone willing to read this entire post and provide useful feedback. 73's, Ralph, KG8ZY

Populating AClog with LoTW data 2
Hello All I'm a new user off AClog and am attempting to load my qso's / confirmations in. My Issue is that I had a catastrophic failure on my PC where everything was lost from the PC ! I have been able to recover my entire log From Clublog which i kept upto date regularly and obviously as i am a LoTW user all that info i have too. The adif received from clublog is just basic qso date time band mode etc so no info regarding US States/ USCA cnfd, thats ok as the lotw report has all the important stuff regarding that! 1, I downloaded the file from Clublog and loaded that into AClog (Worked great all My DXCC WAZ In! and appears to be good) 2, I downloaded all my matched QSO's from LoTW (Worked fine) 3, So i figured if i do a sync from the beginning of my Ham log (2004) to present day i will have saved the day! The issue starts here (I think? as I have 100,000 odd QSO records and 70,000 odd LoTW matches). 3, The sync from the LoTW keeps timing out! Reading the help file in AClog it says to break down the request into chunks. I did that and set the date back to upload from 2023 this worked good and populated AClog with the State/County info that i wanted. Now i cant figure how to get the next chunk as there is only 1 date selection?? How would I choose to now download info from say 2023-2024?? and so on until i get everything back to 2004? -- 73 MM0EAX Dave

Port problems 16
I used vspe to make a port for ac log. It didn’t work. Transfered that port to wsjtx where it’s working perfectly. Was going to use the yaesu actual port and it will not work either. Anytime you try you get all of these different messages. Any one want to advise what’s going on ? Randy K5UF

Mode Determined by Frequency - Doesn't seem to work 3
Hi, In Settings -- Rig Control, there's a setting checkbox, "Mode Determined by Frequency". The description of this feature in the help document says, "When operating digital modes, under the Mode By options, select Mode by Frequency (to return the digital mode based on frequency)." I have not set up the Rig Control to operate the radio (Radio: None), as I have other digital mode software perform the rig control (WSJT-X, JS8Call etc). However, it appears from the description that ACLOG will set the mode based on the frequency entered (manually, or by the other software) into the frequency field. But this does not occur. When I enter 14.074 in the frequency box, the mode does not change to FT8. Similarly, when I enter 14.300, it does not change to SSB. Does Mode by Frequency only work if ACLOG is responsible for rig control? In other words, it won't update the mode based on the frequency typed into the Frequency box by hand?

FX-4CR Rig Control 4
Scott (or anyone who has V.3 of the FX4-CR). This is the newest model of the FX4-CR which has USB-C. The manual says to emulate the Kenwood TS-590s with baud rate 115200, 8/1/0 (I tried 2 Stop Bits as well) and RTS. When I test, it keys up however it does not read the frequency. If I test the QSY, it will switch bands. So, I guess I'm almost there. Can anyone give me any ideas what to change? Thanks, Scott KN3A

Connection to the log changes received call colors 4
After I linked WSJT-X (2.7.0) to the N3FJP logging app, the call signs in the Band Activity change color (see attached image). The usual setting is black text on a green background, as shown. I have set up the N3FJP software (licensed) and connected it and WSJT-X through UDP according to the instructions from N3FJP ("WSJT-X Integration with N3FJP Software"). Now, the incoming messages have white call-sign text on an olive-green background. As soon as I close N3FJP program, the text comes back to all-black text on the green background as per normal in WSJT-X. Is there a setting to overcome this problem? This is not what I want. Color settings in WSJT-X did not affect the call-sign color changed by N3FLP log program. Suggestions? Thanks! -- Jon Titus, KZ1G Herriman, UT

Previous Contacts 6
When I work DX stations, I hear people saying when and how many times they have made contacts with each other. I see AC Log will preview and flag if you have previously worked a callsign or country but is there a way to ascertain how many times and when you have worked the station. The same applies states. Can a state be previewed before tabbing into the record? If this is not a feature, can it be put on the roadmap?
