Re: SR2000 load cap
How about a piece of 1/2 plastic rod, drill a 1/4" hole down the middle, slice off a couple sections and sleeve them on to the two shafts. Then run an O ring as a belt like Heathkit did on the HW 101?

Re: SR2000 load cap
NO ? inch. They would have to be machined out. Also NO double joints. So I would have to run two back-to-back to make the JOG. Remember, the shaft is 1 inch DOWN and about an inch OVER. If I had

Thanks Bob. I already purchased the ball bearings and installed them into the race. The cap has warped plates and makes heavy contact. There is no way I can think of to repair it. I spent hours

How about these? You would still need your insulated coupling in the string. C$2.83 70%OFF | Rc Boat Car Metal Cardan Joint 2mm/2.3mm/3mm/3.175mm/4mm/5mm/6mm/8mm Gimbal Couplings Shaft Motor Connector

Re: SR2000 load cap
Good Morning, Thought I would add my 2 cents worth... Since it looks like there is a shaft extender on the cap, that does give you a little bit of room to work with. If it were me, I would look for a

Hamfest season is coming! Maybe with luck someone has what you need. An alternative would be to take a page from the ALPHA78 design and install a few fixed variable caps for a couple of your favorite

Re: SR2000 load cap
Do you have room for a couple of these with a small 1/4 shaft connecting 2 back to back? [image: image.png] From Amazon. There are several different styles available. Search under motor drive

Re: SR2000 load cap
I went down that road. Can't find one online. I would need a double joint 1/4 inch. That might be possible if I could find some parts.

Re: Sx100 question on 50.5 kc alignment
If you use your probe at x1 then there is a greater chance that you will load the signal down because the probe has lower impedance (usually 1M ohm), and you'll make an error in the measurement.

Mark, I talk to some friends most days on 3950. We vacate at 8am due to another net that starts at 8am on 3952. They start regardless if we're still there on 3950 or not. 99% of the time we're gone at

I've seen this done with a rubber or vinyl hose as a coupler also. ________________________________ Sent: Wednesday, April 3, 2024 8:43 PM To: [email protected]

Re: Sx100 question on 50.5 kc alignment
Those that have more experience with testing these points in the SX100 or any other radio that normally uses a VTVM to check DC voltage.....can I do this with my oscilloscope? My probe is a 1x & 10x.

Re: SR2000 load cap
Is there enough room for an adapter plate? Is because the balls were missing in the old one? If you remove the rear adjustment screw, (if it has one ) you may be able to replace the balls
