Guys,
I performed a complete RF alignment once again.
I used a sig-gen and the SA just as a "receiver" to "see" the LO signal and followed the service manual instructions.
LO was fine in all bands

Richard what does turning the dial clockwise actually mean? If it was a rotating pointer on a fixed scale it is fairly clear that the POINTER rotates CW. And the numbers stay fixed, but on a rotating
