You have certainly all seen them!

Periodically you will see a post with either the action word? "bracketed" with them, or following the Action word:? i.e. &&& Wanted &&&, or OFFER &&&

It essentially means the moderators have either added a reminder note?? &&& OFFER &&& item with a &&note inside the post&&; OR have simply made the needed edit in the interest of time/expediency and you see OFFER &&&.? This might have been a post with the OFFER missing (for regulars that just slipped, OR if we are on a crunch for time personally.)? Sometimes we will remove something against the rules, and kick the post out.? The notes are used for chronic offenders (if not disapproved outright) or possibly for new members still learning the ropes.

We WILL remove non alpha characters added as attention geters (Hey!? that's OUR game!), but with the obvious exception that the Hashtags now used in the new group MUST be used.? (posts will auto reject without them! - A BIG time saver for us Mods!)

So they DO mean something, and are additionally used in our Email filters to manage the large volume of Email we get. Most mail is auto sorted and added to the appropriate "bucket" in our Moderator's emails, including Email for Moderator notes, and messages not approved.
