I would try a different golden flax seed then. Askegarrd Farms is in Moorhead, just across the river from Fargo. I'd think their seeds would be available to you, but don't know exactly where you is.

Yes, it's a simple matter of spraying water on the flaxseeds and waiting a day or two. But I think your issue is a completely different problem and I'm not sure that increasing the moisture content
