Re: Harmonics
Jerry,
This is the nth time where N is greater than 3.? ;)
You put two signals into a DBM and you get all the possible sums and differences for
the first two and all the harmonics of those two and

Re: Harmonics
Allison,
I agree with that totally, 25 dB down 2Mhz over is a tall order for any LPF. So that's how much it has to be reduced ?
Oh, well, at least we're on the same page. Thanks.

Glenn,
For an interum board look at CoilCraft at the larger but not huge parts.? I have the
20M slopbucket and the band pass filter for TX is SMT and the RX Inptut filter is SMT.
It works well (no

Warren's Spectrum Analyzer screenshot of 2W out on 15m shows the 23mhz spur to be 50dB down,
which is fully compliant.? ?? ??/g/BITX20/photo/65861/2?p=Name,,,20,1,0,0

spur's frequency of ~23MHz ? The existing uBITX 20/17 LPF?IF USED ON 15m?actually is ~0.5dB down at 21.450MHz and the ~23.xxMHz spur is down ~6dB.?
Save for the built in filter (existing)

Re: Harmonics
Nick, where are you getting Omron G6S-2 relays for $1.30? AUD$ or US$?
The HK19F-DC 12v are a very common type and cheap on ebay. Pinout is same as the ones used in uBITX.? US$?? 40c.?

Yes, I agree with all that....and when you are on 15m and you have a ~23MHz spur ....if your LPF is designed to cover 20/17/15 (using the values I gave earlier), would it not be nice to have

Re: Harmonics
Kees,
Even if using the existing 20/17 LPF "as is" on 15m, the 15m signals are ~0.5dB down and the 23.xx MHz spur is 6-7dB down vs 0 dB down on the 15/12/10 LPF. You can sharpen up the original LPF

Re: Harmonics
HI All.
I am still working on my new LPF board.
I actually plan on using Omron G6S-2 relays. they are 5V, so i might look at changing them to a 12v version, Or using a regulator to get TX-5V.
