HI All.
I am still working on my new LPF board.
I actually plan on using Omron G6S-2 relays. they are 5V, so i might look at changing them to a 12v version, Or using a regulator to get TX-5V.
I like them as they are small and about $1.30 each, so not TOO bad really.,, (11 needed for my LPF)
Im sure they can be switched directly from the Nano...
But the main thing is, the smaller relays allow me to add a fith filter. (15m)
Might also took at a cheap SPDT realy (HHC66A-1Z-12VDC)
This will require using more IOs. But, really changing the LPF code is very simple, no matter what version/flavour you are running.
You can use the extra ports freed up by using a $2 I2C lCD....
I want this board to be clean, with lots of ground copper...
Then Ideally I can do a board that sits asside it for a complete replacement PA secion.
Then another for the BPF upgrade... and then another for the IF/SI5153 section,
In essense I am building that Modular uBitx I have wanted to; one section at a time, but also allowing the modules to be fitted to existing uBitx as upgrades...
