If you have a thumb drive, you can test the different xml files quite easy: 1. Make sure APRSIS32 is not "full screen" and close the program on each computer. 2. Put the thumb drive in the desktop computer and create 2 folders? ???? DC (for desktop Computer) ???? LC (for Laptop Computer) 3. With the thumb drive in the desktop computer, copy the file (APRSIS32.xlm) from the APRSIS32 folder on the desktop to the thumb drive DC folder. 4. Move the thumb drive to the laptop computer and copy the file

Did you get it working the way you expected?
I missed the beginning post about 2 computers - was ion spam.
Looking back, I see posts about pressing the right arrow to increase map detail and zoom level.
If you are seeing the same icons without map detail, then the zoom level should be the same.
?? Quickest check is the bottom left corner should have a number that shows the circle diameter in units you are using.
?? If they are the same (or even close), then the map circle is the same size (left and right may be different due to window size).
?
More likely the map detail, or map internet access.
If you are still having issue, you could backup the XML files and swap them between computers.
See if the issue stays with the computer or XML.? Then compare the 2 files.

I went through APRSIS32 menus to make sure Internet was enabled and it was checked.? My port looks OK.? Someone said they queried my station thru APRS and it returned that the radio port was not connected.? My port in APRSIS32 is mislabled as FT857d as I used to that that radio and simply didn't change the name when I reconfigured it. Cables have been the same for close to a year.? I have the correct chip(s) in the cables asn I know they worked for a long time and I have not changed them. I have attached as screen shot of my Enables for your reference.? I am thinking that with all the checking I have done it must be some simple little setting that I am miissing.? I will dig into the logs today.? Hope this helps clarify things! |

This may be a dumb question, could you be zoomed in so far that there are no map details to see? Try zooming out just to be sure. If not, then it sounds like the software is not loading map tiles, but offhand I am not sure why. Are you on an active Internet connection? Burt, What you are telling us is that you have two instances of APRSISCE/32 running with different configurations.? Your screen sizes are different causing different layouts to be used, and it sounds like you may be using different maps, or as previously suggested, you may just have the opacity turned waaaay down on the laptop making your maps invisible. ? Hard to say without seeing exactly what you are seeing. ? You can set up two machines identically, with one looking at Miami and drag the map away on the other one to look at Los Angeles. Both are “set up identically”, but the maps will look drastically different, showing different information.? You have changed the viewing parameters on one machine to make them different from the other machine, hence the displays looking different even if they are showing the same physical?location.? Thanks Ben for the info.
Stretching the screen worked for the desktop in getting the scroller enlarged.
However, clicking on the left and right arrors did nothing for getting the correct screen on the laptop.
I had already done the arror bit.? That is how I managed to get the white screen.? I had a dark grey with just my position on it.
Still looking for a solution.

Laptop has a white screen with a full length scroller on the left side of screen.? Map does not have any relief nor roads shown.? Objects (call signs, house, derrick, car, etc) are shown on both. Desktop has relief and roads shown with a small scroller in the upper left corner of the screen with only 6 lines? scrolling at a time. Any ideas? Burt AF5AA |

开云体育I think it's the check options under the Preferred menu on a MultiTrack window? And if you close a MultiTrack that is following a specific
station, and the window is not maximized, the current settings on
that MultiTrack window will be used for that station the next time

开云体育The first one you did may not have been Flashing but had another notification-type Mic-E status.? You'll notice that some status do "New Flash" where others may only do "New". They don't time out, but if a different Mic-E status is received,
it will change to the most recent one.? This happens with some
regularity with Emergency Mic-E status on a full feed typically
