Did you get it working the way you expected? I missed the beginning post about 2 computers - was ion spam. Looking back, I see posts about pressing the right arrow to increase map detail and zoom level. If you are seeing the same icons without map detail, then the zoom level should be the same. ?? Quickest check is the bottom left corner should have a number that shows the circle diameter in units you are using. ?? If they are the same (or even close), then the map circle is the same size (left and right may be different due to window size). ? More likely the map detail, or map internet access. If you are still having issue, you could backup the XML files and swap them between computers. See if the issue stays with the computer or XML.? Then compare the 2 files. Thanks Robert for your response.
I am not running two APRSISCE just for the sake of running them. With the desktop running correctly, I wanted to set the laptop to get the same results.? I did that with the exception on the laptop of the white screen devoid of relief, roads and towns.? The
call signs and objects are the same on both computers.? Scrolling is the same.? The laptop has great amount of memory remaining.
My intention is to have APRSISCE on the laptop running 24/7.?

If you are running 2 instances ...
When running 2 instance of APRSIS32, you MUST make sure there are 2 XML files (one for each instance).? In order to do that, you must have 2 "working directories (folders)".
If you don't, the XML will contain the contents used by the last instance you close (it overwrites the XML on close.
Easiest way is to have 2 APRSIS32 folder.? In my example, I will use:
??? APRSIS32????????=> APRSIS32.exe, OSMTiles map folder, and APRSIS32.xml
??? APRSIS32_1????=> shortcut to ..\APRSIS32\APRSIS32.exe, and the second APRSIS32.xml
Example:
??? C:\APRS\APRSIS32
??????????? APRSIS32.exe
??????????? OSMTiles
??????????? APRSIS32.xml
??? C:\APRS\APRSIS32_1
??????? shortcut with settings of:
??????????? Target ?????? C:\APRS\APRSIS32\APRSIS32
??????????? Start In:???? C:\APRS\APRSIS32_1
??????? APRSIS32.xml??????? => key settings:
????????????<OSM.Path>C:/APRS/APRSIS32/OSMTiles/</OSM.Path>
??????????? <Path>.C:/APRS/APRSIS32/OSMTiles/</Path>
???????????
This allows only 1 copy of map tiles and 1 copy of APRSIS32.exe (easier to keep up to date).
You could move the map tiles out a folder (as I typically do).? Then the structure? would look like this:
??? C:\APRS\APRSIS32
??? C:\APRS\APRSIS32_1
??? C:\APRS\OSMTiles??????????????? The XML files (both) would have to be altered to point here
