Hi, I have been running APRIS and all of the sudden I no maps. I also cannot shut off the frequency monitor. Whenever I go to enables and try and turn off frequency monitor it brings up the frequency monitor window but it won’t turn it off. Any help with either issue would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to resururrect my old TT4 and need some help. All I'm using is the tracker with a gps antenna, do I need to program two ports or just one? I have it configured to what seemed correct to me but when I install it in the car it doesn't track. The TT3 I've been using tracks fine so I'm guessing the gps antenna is good. Hi all, Is there a way to keep RF-only stations on the map for prolonged periods of time? I've changed the "maxage" settings in both the aprsis32.xml and aprsis42(safe).xml files with no luck. I also tried putting a zero in the maxage settings since I saw some reference in another message thread about that, but still no luck. Or is it even possible? Thanks, KP3FT

Hello, I have been using APRSISCE for some time now, but I have been unable to find a way to search for specific call signs or APRS stations. This is a basic functionality, but when I try "Find Stations", none of the stations showing on the map are found, so I must be missing something very simple. I am trying to learn all the ins and outs of the software to deploy it for our local ARES operations. Once I figure this out, I am sure I will have some other questions about more advanced aspects. Thank you KK4ODA PS: the station is receiving and beaconing very well, and it is even digipeating.

I am new to APRS and am trying to set up my FTM-300 so that it acts as an igate by feeding RF spots to ARRSIS and also so these are visible on aprs.fi My FTM-300 is configured as M0NMA-9 APRSIS is set up as M0NMA-10 I am testing spots using an FT2D (M0NMA-1) handheld, beaconing on 50mW, so its range is very limited to avoid being spotted by other igates. My FTM-300 is spotting M0NMA-1 as well as other traffic (mainly gateways like MB7UM and MB7VH). On the map display I can see M0NMA-10, 9 and 1 displayed on the screen and I see RF spots appearing on the scroller (with asterisk), but only M0NMA-1. Earlier spots of M0NMA-1 are going through a portable igate (a Venus X1C5 Plus). If I go on to APRS.fi, there is no sign of any spots, so I presume I need to do something to tell APRSIS to send the data it is seeing on to the internet? Where do I need to look? I can't see anything obvious in the manual or the menus. Thanks in advance Steve M0NMA
